Bio

Hi everyone!!! My name is Corin Andrade, and I am passionate about studying Animal Science to become a zoologist. I have always been fascinated by animals and their behaviors, and I dream of contributing to wildlife conservation and research. Growing up, I was surrounded by strong and inspiring girls and women who encouraged me to pursue my dreams and continue my education. Their support and determination have been a driving force in my journey. I am incredibly proud to share that I was the first girl to receive the prestigious Eagle Award in my community. This achievement marks a personal milestone and is a testament to the possibilities that open up when we break barriers and challenge the status quo. Additionally, I took the initiative to establish a Girl BSA troop in my area, which previously did not have one. This experience taught me the importance of leadership and community-building. Coming from immigrant parents, I have witnessed firsthand the value of hard work and perseverance. Their sacrifices and dedication have instilled in me a deep appreciation for my opportunities and a commitment to making the most of them. I n the future, I aim to become a role model for other young girls, showing them they can achieve anything they set their minds. I want to inspire them to follow their passions, whether in STEM fields or any other area they are passionate about. Through my work and dedication, I hope to empower the next generation of girls to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.

Hi there! My name is Corin Andrade, and I am passionate about studying Animal Science to become a zoologist. Ever since I can remember, I have been fascinated by animals and their behaviors. My dream is to contribute to wildlife conservation and research, helping to protect endangered species and understand the intricate dynamics of ecosystems. As a first-generation Latin-American student, I have faced unique challenges and opportunities that have shaped my future goals. My parents, who immigrated to this country, have always emphasized the importance of education and hard work. Their sacrifices and dedication have instilled in me a deep appreciation for my opportunities and a commitment to making the most of them. My passion for animal science is driven by a desire to positively impact the world. Through my future career as a zoologist, I plan to contribute to conservation efforts, conduct vital research, and educate the public about the importance of protecting our natural world. I believe that understanding and preserving wildlife is essential for creating a sustainable and harmonious future for all living beings. My identity as a first-generation Latin-American student has profoundly impacted my goals. It has fueled my determination to succeed and serve as a role model for other young girls, especially those from similar backgrounds. I want to inspire them to follow their passions, whether in STEM fields or any other area they are passionate about. Through my work and dedication, I hope to empower the next generation of girls to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. In addition to my academic pursuits, I am deeply committed to community involvement. I have volunteered at local animal shelters, participated in conservation projects, and organized educational workshops to raise awareness about wildlife preservation. These experiences have reinforced my belief in the power of community action and the importance of giving back. In the future, I aim to continue breaking barriers and challenging stereotypes, showing that anything is possible with hard work and perseverance. I aspire to be a voice for underrepresented communities in the sciences and to advocate for more inclusive opportunities. By combining my passion for animal science with my commitment to social justice, I hope to make a lasting positive impact on the world. Through my career and community involvement, I am dedicated to making a difference and inspiring others to do the same. Together, we can create a better, more equitable world for all.
