I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison majoring in Neurobiology, with plans to attend medical school. I’m passionate about medicine, the brain, and helping others—especially where science meets compassionate care. Outside the classroom, I’m an Irish dancer and pianist, disciplines that have taught me focus, resilience, and creative expression. I also volunteer in the emergency room at my local hospital, gaining firsthand experience in patient care. My Christian faith is a core part of who I am and shapes my values of compassion, justice, and perseverance. I hope to become a physician who brings both technical skill and deep empathy to every patient interaction. Scholarships like this one help make that goal possible, supporting my pursuit of meaningful education, research, and service.
