I love to read and wish reading for fun was part of what we do at school. I think more kids would do it if they get to read what they want and not just homework books. If I could give everyone a book I would give them one of my Grandma’s books. My Grandma is an author has written many books so there are many to choose from. It would definitely be one of her books. Her books have characters in them that people can relate to. Her books have good guys and bad guys that leave you hoping the right ones when. There are other characters that you get to know and they stick with you. It is fun to go with her to hear what her fans say to her at book signings. Her fans found her books in a hospital waiting room, or in a soldier’s duffle bag and so many more but they all say her books brought comfort and entertainment and relationships that jump off the pages. That is what they see when they read her books. To me she is my Grandma and a huge help in proofreading my homework assignments. I would give everyone one of her books to read to see how talented she is and to meet the characters in her books to some that have become like extended family members. To me she is my Grandma and I think that each of her books has someone that we can all restate to. Her books are just one of the reasons I love her.
