I am pursuing a job in the welding trades. I have been accepted to an accredited college and plan to attend this fall. I am passionate about welding because I have enjoyed it since I was young. I also enjoy welding because there is always a way to better yourself in the welding field. I plan on giving back to my community by teaching the younger generation how to weld once I have succeeded in gettin ginto the trade myself.

I have a few things in my life that fuel me. Mostly my motivation comes from my desire to be better. I've always wanted to be a better person and become more skilled. Deep down I have always wanted to further my education and just learn more about all sorts of things. This led me to making a lot of new friends by bonding over a desire to learn something, and I also made new hobbies because I wanted to learn about the hobbies themselves. For example I didn't know anything about football. So I joined the team and here I am, voted all conference and I am playing in the regional all star game. What fuels my life the most is just my desire to know more about the world we live in.

My goal is to graduate from AWI with a lot of certificates in different types of welding. Then I would like to get a job as a welder and slowly work my way into a management spot in the company. My plan to achieve this success is to work harder than anybody else in the field.
