Female Athleticism Scholarship
Managing Academics, Life, and Sports: A Road of Resilient Development
As a female athlete, I have frequently experienced the fact that women's sports get less attention and funding than men's. Though male competitors often have more sponsorship, media coverage, and incomes, women athletes are often seen struggling for the same chances. Notwithstanding these difficulties, sports have been a cornerstone of my life. They have influenced my resiliency, time management, and work ethic. Despite challenges, juggling my studies, personal life, and sports career has also made me stronger and more ready for the future.
Starting at the Fox Cities YMCA Swim Team (September 2015 - August 2023), my path as a swimmer began. Initially, I used swimming as a means to keep active; over time, it became far more. Growing in the field, I discovered discipline, tenacity, and the need to establish long-term objectives. Many times after a difficult race, I have looked up at board and see time added. Though I might not have improved my time, the experience reminds me of the need for resiliency. From every one of those moments, I see that success in sports is about showing up, growing, and pushing past obstacles rather than always about winning.
I signed up for the Fox Valley WAVE Swim Team in September 2023, which added an extra degree of competition and work. As a student-athlete, the team's demanding training calendar challenged my ability to combine academics and athletics. Simultaneously, I started to see how, unlike men's leagues, women's sports still lacked the same visibility and funding prospects. Still, my dedication deepened and I realized that as a woman athlete, I had to keep pushing boundaries and be a good example for others.
My athletic career took a turn when I was appointed Captain of the Appleton West - Kimberly High School Varsity Swim Team (August 2021 - November 2024). Managing my colleagues helped me to appreciate leadership, compassion, and communication. Being a captain, I had to inspire and encourage my colleagues even while I was at my best. Through this fragile balance, I began to control my performance while also modeling others. Leadership pressures partnered with expectations for high academic standards helped me learn how to prioritize, stay structured, and make hard decisions on my time. Every choice, whether it was giving up a social event for an important meet or stressing study time before a major race, helped me acquire vital life skills.
Looking ahead, I will join the Swim Team at UW-Stevens Point in August. As I move to a more competitive environment, the knowledge I have gained from juggling academics and sports will be essential. Knowing that my involvement is part of a larger effort to transform the story about female athletes, I am eager to keep representing women in sports.
My difficulties juggling school, life, and athletics have shown me that leadership is about perseverance, development, and helping others along the road, not only about achievement. Although the lack of appreciation for women's sports is annoying, it inspires me to keep pushing ahead since my path contributes to a bigger movement toward equality. Being an athlete has molded my character and equipped me for the next stages; I think the lessons I acquired through events will enable me to thrive in my future work and my college studies.
Academically and athletically, this scholarship will help me to keep chasing my goals. It will let me concentrate on my studies and keep shattering boundaries as a woman athlete. Thank you for the chance to apply and the opportunity to keep developing, showing resiliency, and leading.
STLF Memorial Pay It Forward Scholarship
Leadership Through Service: My Volunteering Journey
I am thrilled to submit my application for the STLF scholarship as it mirrors my passion for servant leadership. Years of experience have helped me realize that serving others is what leadership really is, not just having control. My volunteer work has given me the chance to lead by example, motivate others, and really improve my community. I am dedicated to continuing this path since one of the most efficient ways to create change is through leadership and service.
Working with LUV Michael, a nonprofit organization aiming at increasing autism awareness, was among my most significant volunteer projects. Working remotely as an Advocate and Team Leader, I helped arrange fundraising activities and promoted autism awareness. My leadership position included recruiting and training new volunteers while maintaining a position as an advocate. This position allowed me to appreciate more clearly how leadership can be about raising the voices of others in need and how critical it is to advocate for underprivileged populations.
Serving as a Deck Coach on the Fox Valley WAVE Swim Team was yet another transforming experience. I mentored young swimmers, promoted a good atmosphere, and supported their goal attainment as a coach. Along with teaching swimming methods, I concentrated on developing the swimmers' confidence and teamwork skills. This encounter in sports showed me that true leadership is about inspiring others, assisting them to progress in and out of the water, as well as guiding with compassion and patience, rather than rivalry.
I served as Event Coordinator with St. Bernadette Parish for various parish events, youth nights, and community outreach initiatives. Planning, organizing, and executing events was part of my scope of duties; this involved volunteer coordination, logistics management, and a smooth operation guarantee. While serving the church community, these encounters helped me develop my leadership and organizational abilities. Participants who felt more connected and involved commented on the power of building venues for individuals to gather and volunteer.
While working as a Team Manager for Valley Boyz, I helped to arrange practices, plan meets, and coordinate other volunteers. Strong leadership abilities are needed for this position, as I have to make sure everyone has the tools they need to succeed and keep the team driven. Creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone feels appreciated and empowered strengthens my conviction that leadership is based in service.
For me, humble, empathetic leadership with a dedication to the more good defines leadership through service. I have personally witnessed how volunteer work may change people and communities. Helping others has helped me develop a better understanding of the necessity for volunteer work in the community. Whether it was promoting a cause, mentoring a team, or planning an event, every encounter showed me that leadership is about improving the lives of others, not about recognition.
I am honored for the chance to apply for this award. I am dedicated to continuing my path of servant leadership and positively influencing the community wherever I travel. Thank you, I appreciate you reviewing my application, and I cannot wait to apply what I have learned to help others in the future.
Let Your Light Shine Scholarship
Dean Goodman had a dream to graduate from university and work in corporate America to support his future family. After graduating from Kimberly High School and earning a full ride to the University of Michigan for business, he reunited with his ex-girlfriend, Kelly, choosing to marry her instead of completing his education.
After starting as an assistant manager at Shopko in Kimberly, Wisconsin, Dean moved to Walmart, where founder Sam Walton encouraged him to apply for an executive position. Despite the recommendation, he was rejected for lack of a degree. He realized that there was no way he could advance in the workplace anywhere but where he is his own boss. Consequently, Dean built his own business from the ground up. He made an honest living, continued to advance his merchandise, and was finally satisfied with his position. It took my grandfather, Dean Goodman, decades to earn the job his heart desired because he didn't follow through on his education to obtain his degree. Although he is happy where he ended up, he knows there are things he could have done to make it easier.
Work setbacks caused Dean to miss important moments in his children's lives, now he ensures he doesn’t miss out with his grandchildren. Dean Goodman, my grandfather, has always been in my life. He is my rock, and I am proud of his journey. I admire his hard work and aim to follow in his footsteps while learning from his mistakes.
In life, my goal is to follow in his footsteps, learning from his mistakes. I seek to work for large corporations without experiencing the drawbacks of not obtaining my degree. My grandfather's story helps me realize the importance of education in career advancement, the limitations that may come without possessing a degree, and the sacrifices one must make for their family. Despite the challenges in his path, my grandfather was able to become a successful entrepreneur. By using his life as a model for my own, I can pursue my interests with passion and have financial stability to provide for my future family.
As an individual, I seek a position in a large corporation so that I may have opportunities for personal and educational growth and development. I want to learn from established business practices so that I may use the success models in my own life. Motivating this desire for knowledge and skills is my understanding of the significance of collegiate education and my steadfast commitment to prevent the pitfalls of my grandfather’s journey in my life.
I dream that I may learn from my family's past to create a better, more successful future for new generations. Learning from the past helps me avoid making the same fatal mistakes my grandfather made so that my future may have more promise for prosperity. I yearn to attend the University of Wisconsin—Stevens Point and graduate with a degree in marketing, continuing to earn an MBA, to honor my grandfather’s legacy while forging a personal path.

David Foster Memorial Scholarship
Upon reflection of my high school journey, one name remains prominent: Sarah Yunk. As my English teacher for AP Language and Composition and my Yearbook advisor at Kimberly High School, she educated me academically while shaping who I am today. From my sophomore year onwards, she lead me through my path in a new and unfamiliar environment.
Entering high school can often feel daunting, especially when faced with the challenges of a new setting on top of not being a full-time student. I remember my first days at Kimberly High; navigating the halls felt overwhelming, and I was uncertain about where to go, physically and emotionally. Mrs. Yunk was quick to notice my hesitance. She took it upon herself to ensure I didn’t just survive but thrive. Through her genuine kindness and unwavering support, she helped me find my footing.
In her AP Language and Composition class, Mrs. Yunk encouraged us to think critically and express ourselves authentically. She introduced us to powerful communication strategies that challenged societal norms sparking vibrant discussions. Essays and presentations taught me to articulate my thoughts to be clear and consice. She taught me to appreciate diverse perspectives and the importance of empathy—a lesson that extends far beyond the classroom.
My involvement in the Yearbook committee under Ms. Yunk's guidance was the most transformative experience of my high school career. She empowered us, the students, to take ownership of our school’s narrative. Under her mentorship, I honed teamwork, organization, and creativity skills. I learned how to collaborate with my peers, manage a project from concept to completion, and capture moments that define our high school experience. Through this endeavor, I connected with classmates and forged friendships.
Mrs. Yunk’s influence on me transcends academics; she cultivated an environment encouraging us to embrace curiosity and challenge the status quo. Her enthusiasm for teaching was infectious, sparking personal passions for learning. She took the time to get to know each student personally, making us feel valued and understood. Her bold approach to education motivated us to strive for excellence and inspired us to approach life’s challenges with a relentless spirit.
Through her lessons, I learned that education is about much more than grades and assessments; it’s about growth, self-discovery, and the connections we make along the way. Mrs. Yunk taught me that the most beneficial lessons often lie outside the curriculum, shaped by the relationships we build and the experiences we embrace.
As I stand on the brink of my future, I carry invaluable lessons taught by one Sarah Yunk. Her unwavering belief in my potential instills a deep sense of ambition and a desire to keep pushing boundaries within myself. I will pursue my future endeavors with the boldness and creativity she instilled in me, aiming to make a positive impact in whatever paths I choose.
In honoring the legacy of David Foster, I aim to embody the values he championed by continuing to embrace new ways of thinking and fostering connections. Like Ms. Yunk, I hope to inspire others and cultivate an environment of curiosity and courage. Without a doubt, the influence of my high school teacher has profoundly shaped my approach to life, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Growing up, we often find comfort in various forms of entertainment. For me, “Geek Charming” has been that essential movie—a source of reassurance during the more tumultuous moments in my life. Released in 2011 as a Disney Channel Original Movie, it explored themes of identity, friendship, and the courage to be oneself. These themes resonate deeply with me, and I consistently turn to this film when I face challenges or hardships.
The story centers around Dylan, a popular high school girl, and Josh, a shy geek passionate about filmmaking. On the surface, they seem like polar opposites, but as the plot develops, it becomes clear that both characters have insecurities and dreams mirroring the others. Dylan's journey of self-discovery and her willingness to step outside her comfort zone speaks volumes to the teenage experience. Watching her embrace her true self, defying the societal pressures surrounding her, motivates me to do the same.
During moments in my life when I’ve felt lost or overwhelmed—like the loss of a family member or academic stressors—I frequently turn back to “Geek Charming.” This movie reminds me that vulnerability is healthy and that personal growth often sources in uncomfortable situations. The characters’ struggles and triumphs resonate with my life experiences, forcing self-reflection on my identity and staying true to myself during challenging times.
The film emphasizes the significance of genuine friendships. It highlights how true friends accept you for who you are and encourages personal growth in a judgment-free environment. This notion has shaped how I view relationships. There is value in surrounding oneself with people who uplift and inspire them. I strive to be that friend for others, remembering that kindness and acceptance can transform a person's outlook on themselves.
Not only does “Geek Charming” have a personal impact, but it also teaches valuable lessons about empathy and understanding. It encourages viewers to appreciate individuality and fosters an accepting environment where everyone has the potential to shine. These lessons stay with me as I consider my future—from career aspirations to personal relationships. As I prepare to pursue higher education, I hope to continue advocating for inclusivity and compassion in my community.
“Geek Charming” has shaped who I am today in multiple ways. It is a comforting reminder that growth comes from embracing our true selves and supporting one another through life’s difficulties. I will always treasure this film, not solely for entertainment value, but for the invaluable life lessons it imparts. As I continue my life's journey, I carry the spirit of “Geek Charming” with me, grateful for guidance and inspiration during life's challenging moments.

One of my most meaningful experiences in our community was participating in the church fundraising picnic last summer. As a member of the church youth group, I took on the role of co-organizer for the event, which aimed to raise funds for our parish’s basic needs. This experience was not just about raising money; it was a profound lesson in teamwork, compassion, and the importance of serving others.
Our parish, a community cornerstone, often relies on fundraising events to meet its essential needs. With budget constraints limiting what we can provide for our members and the community, it is evident that an annual picnic serves as both a team-building gathering and a vital funding opportunity. Together, team members brainstormed activities, planned food options, and reached out to local businesses for donations. Each step of the planning process taught me about collaboration and leadership, crucial skills for a positive impact on any community.
The picnic day was a whirlwind of energy and enthusiasm. We set up games, organized a potluck lunch, and arranged a small area for a snow cone truck. Watching families arrive, their faces lighting up with joy and connection, reminded me of the importance of community spirit. As I looked around, I could see neighbors mingling, kids laughing, and friends old and new sharing moments that would create lasting memories.
What struck me the most was seeing our congregation come together for a common cause. It wasn’t just the funds we were raising that mattered; it was the unity and purpose surrounding our efforts. By the end of the day, we had met our fundraising goal, raising enough money to support the parish’s basic needs for the next few months. The picnic’s success was a testament to what can be achieved when a community works together.
Reflecting on this experience, I realized that the picnic was about raising money and creating deeper connections in our parish community. This event pushes to encourage more community gatherings where everyone feels welcomed and valued. I envision a community where we regularly come together to support our local organizations, build friendships, and support one another.
In the future, I would love to see the church continue this tradition and maybe even expand it to incorporate local artists and artisans, showcasing their talents while supporting community needs. By creating additional opportunities for collaboration, we can strengthen our community bonds and provide a platform for everyone to contribute, regardless of their financial capacity.
Participating in the church fundraising picnic profoundly impacted me. It taught me that even small actions can lead to significant changes. I learned that through working together, we can uplift our entire community. As I move forward in my education and beyond, I carry these lessons with me, knowing that the heart of our community lies in our willingness to come together and support one another, just as we did that day.

My name is Colleen “Callee” DeBruin, and I am currently a senior at Seton Homestudy School. Since a young age, I’ve been passionate about positively impacting my community. This drive has led me to immerse myself in various extracurricular activities that reflect my commitment to service and leadership. My experiences as a swimmer, a lifeguard, a manager for the boys’ swim team, and a coach for young swimmers enhance my leadership skills and instill a strong sense of responsibility towards those around me and myself. Additionally, my role in the yearbook has honed my creativity and storytelling abilities, both crucial for my future career in marketing.
As I set my sights on pursuing a degree in marketing, I am particularly eager about the opportunity to engage with quality, sustainable products that can create a positive impact on our environment and society. I firmly believe that effective marketing can influence consumer behavior in a way that drives meaningful change. It has the potential to elevate awareness about sustainability and encourage individuals to make choices that benefit the planet. Through my education and career, I aspire to create compelling marketing campaigns that not only highlight the myriad benefits of sustainable products but also inspire consumers to embrace an eco-friendly lifestyle.
I envision a future where businesses prioritize social responsibility and consumers feel empowered to make informed, conscientious decisions. This vision is fueled by my deep-seated belief in the importance of education as a powerful tool for societal change. It excites me to think about how I will contribute to a movement that champions sustainable practices while fostering a culture of awareness and responsibility among consumers.
However, my journey has not been without its challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly affected all aspects of life, reshaping how we approach education and daily tasks. Like many, I faced significant disruptions in my learning experience. Over two years, I transitioned between four distinct educational styles— in-person, online, hybrid, and homeschooling. This constant shift created a sense of uncertainty and unease. More than once, I found myself grappling with incomplete learning, having to review previous lessons, and feeling like I was always one step behind.
Through this challenging period, I learned invaluable lessons about resilience and perseverance, pushing me to seek help and extend my support to peers navigating similar difficulties. This shared experience of uncertainty reinforced my commitment to uplift and advocate for the needs of students, much like Valerie Rabb’s dedication to empowering children and students.
Inspired by her legacy, I am more determined than ever to create a positive change through my career in marketing. It is crucial to channel my experiences into efforts towards actively improving the lives of others. With the support of this scholarship, I aim to further my studies and enhance my ability to make a meaningful impact on society.
I am dedicated to using tools for effective marketing to advocate for sustainable practices and empower consumers to make informed choices. Together, we can create a world where businesses act with social responsibility, and individuals are informed and engaged in their decisions. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to this meaningful cause and continue my journey toward making a lasting difference in the world.
Kalia D. Davis Memorial Scholarship
My name is Colleen “Callee” DeBruin, and I am a high school senior passionate about academics, athletics, and community service. Reflecting on my journey and the values that have shaped me, I feel a profound connection to the legacy of Kalia D. Davis, a remarkable individual who exemplified excellence, dedication, and kindness. It is with great respect that I submit my application for the Kalia D. Davis Memorial Scholarship.
Growing up, I have always been motivated to excel in my studies and engage in extracurricular activities. I maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA, which I have worked diligently to achieve while juggling my responsibilities as a student-athlete in swim and through my involvement in various community service projects. As a swimmer, I have learned the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities that I believe align closely with Kalia’s exemplary work ethic and commitment to excellence.
In my community, I have dedicated time to volunteering with the Fox Valley WAVE Swim Team, where I coach young athletes to hone their swimming abilities. This experience allows me to give back and teaches me the value of empathy, leadership, and the impact of uplifting others. I am inspired by Kalia’s willingness to support her peers and bring joy to those around her, and I strive to do the same in my own life.
I aspire to follow in Kalia's footsteps by pursuing higher education at UW-Stevens Point or UW-Whitewater next fall, where I will major in Marketing and get my MBA, continuing my journey as an athlete. Winning this scholarship would alleviate some of the financial burden of college expenses, allowing me to focus on my studies and extracurricular involvement. Like Kalia, I aim to excel in my academic and athletic pursuits, ultimately contributing positively to society.
Beyond my academic and athletic ambitions, I also have plans to engage in leadership opportunities, similar to Kalia’s executive position with the Black Student Union. I firmly believe that taking on leadership roles will enable me to advocate for my peers and foster a sense of community on campus.
The Kalia D. Davis Memorial Scholarship embodies the values of ambition, drive, and impact I believe in. This scholarship will assist me financially while serving as a powerful reminder of Kalia’s incredible legacy. I am committed to living a life that honors her memory and inspires others to strive for excellence, just as she did. Thank you for considering my application.
Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship
My name is Colleen “Callee” DeBruin, and I’m a high school senior who hopes to pursue a career in marketing. I’m about to start a new chapter of my life in college and am looking forward to what that chapter holds. My dreams are starting to become realities, and getting a degree in business, with an emphasis in marketing, and later getting my MBA is closer than ever. My ambition is to leave a strong impact in the business world by creating campaigns or designing layouts to attract consumers to companies while engaging them to be active in the content I work so hard to create.
This scholarship will have a major impact on my education. I have a goal to be debt-free within 5 years of graduating and having the financial burden of tuition lightened would go a long way in helping me accomplish that, giving me more freedom to focus on my studies and professional development. I would have time to participate in workshops, internships, and conferences that would offer real-world opportunities in my field of marketing. Also, this scholarship would allow me the time to network with people already in the industry. Providing a chance to learn more about the business side.
Despite my academic drive, I have encountered personal challenges that have contributed to shaping who I am. I have had trouble facing my emotions, especially when dealing with the loss of the death of a loved one. My first response was to ignore my emotions and believe I could power through the grief, however, it only rocked me further down an emotional rollercoaster.
The turning point came when I reached out to seek help through therapy. Therapy became an essential element in teaching me emotional resilience. Through the countless sessions, I had to learn to sit with my emotions rather than run from them, enabling me to grow in emotional intelligence. Therapy taught me that leaning into vulnerability is what enabled me to carry myself through the darkest period of my moment and essentially thrive through it. Leaning into what hurt me the most was what had essentially freed me from it, it created room for growth in an area where immense sadness had occupied. I also embraced prayer as it had given me much-needed comfort and peace in my moment of need.
This experience not only taught me the value of emotional resilience but also inspired me to incorporate these lessons into my future marketing career. With empathy and understanding woven into every campaign, I aspire to connect with audiences on a deeper level, creating messages that resonate and inspire action.
As I begin to open a new chapter in my life, I hope to assist and give back to the business and marketing world. The Jorian Kuran Harris (Shugg) Helping Heart Foundation Scholarship will assist me financially throughout my college matriculation and allow me to attain my long-term goals. I am going to make my dreams of the future come true in reality and hope to be an influence in the marketing field and also add to the emotional intelligence I will keep throughout my decisions.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to demonstrating how I may inspire lasting change in the world of business and entrepreneurship.
Empower Her Scholarship
Empowerment is a concept that speaks strongly to me because it represents the power to create change not only in my own life but also in the lives of those around me. To me, empowerment means taking ownership of my decisions, hopes, and desires and leveraging the resources and opportunities at my disposal to make a positive difference. It is the motivation that propels people toward their goals and makes them champions for themselves and those they serve.
As a kid, I used to feel hemmed in by the realities around me—limited resources, peer pressure, and self-doubt. But I realized that empowerment starts with a shift in thinking: that I have the ability to choose my own way, regardless of the obstacles before me. This realization ignited a fire in my stomach, telling me to seek out opportunities for leadership and roles where I could be a force for good. Whether it was advocating for autism awareness or guiding the younger swimmers on my team, I knew that empowerment wasn't just about personal development, but helping others.
One of the experiences that shaped my understanding of empowerment was serving as a Varsity Swim Team Captain. In leading my peers, I needed to listen to different suggestions and advocate for their interests. This experience taught me the importance of teamwork in achieving common goals. Empowerment allowed me to empower my colleagues to voice their opinions, providing a podium where every student felt valued. This made me realize that leadership is about empowering the people around you and giving them space to be heard.
Empowerment also has choices attached to it that decide our lives. I've often thought of it similar to the "choose your own adventure" books I used to read as a child. Every decision creates a new path, which is the reality of our lives. Empowerment here is all about recognizing the various paths available to me and embracing the possibility of change. Under adversity, I've found that I can either be defeated or respond with tenacity and persistence. This is the attitude that has allowed me to survive setbacks and approach life with a sense of control.
In addition, empowerment fuels my future ambitions. I envision myself going on to pursue my education and eventually becoming a member of careers that create social change. I feel that women have a key to opening up innovation and solutions to the problems of society, and I am committed to being one of them. Empowering myself through education and experience, I would like to inspire other young women to fearlessly pursue their dreams. I love the power of representation and understand that empowerment of women can open doors for generations to come.
In the end, empowerment is a very strong thing that alters the world and my life around it. It makes me feel energized to be the master of my journey and empower others to be the masters of theirs too. I am driven by a desire to put my educational chances to good use, break down the barriers faced by women, and be part of changing a world where everyone can be successful. Empowerment is not just individual success; it is creating a ripple effect that leads to a brighter, fairer world.
Arthur and Elana Panos Scholarship
As adults, we underestimate the youth and their exposure to an increasingly terrible world. We shelter them so heavily that we cannot recognize them suffering from ‘grown-up’ problems. At age ten, I felt unloved; I believed my problems were insignificant. This hopelessness led me to stand in the kitchen with a knife pressed to my wrist. One thought crossed my mind; the voice was unlike any thought that had crossed my mind before. It sounded warm, like home; the voice spoke of the grave error in my actions, that my life had a purpose and I needed to keep living.
This voice of God has gotten me through many nights and kept me from taking my life that day. From that moment, I’ve been granted the ability to recognize this kind of deep pain in others, help them through it, and help them understand the value of their soul so that they don’t take their own lives. Throughout the years, I’ve seen when there’s an emptiness in someone's eyes; I’ve directed them away from the negativity that pushes them into their decisions and helped them seek whatever kind of help they need. Through this unsavory childhood memory, I have helped people from every part of the self-harm spectrum.
I can apply my understanding of God’s presence in my career, by continually turning to him searching for his will. I will remain open to any opportunity that may cross my path, whilst assessing the spiritual power over each choice I make. By understanding the power God has in my own life, as well as others, I am better able to include Him in my own career choices, and trust in His will that everything may result how it is meant to be.
This experience has helped me understand the value of every persons life, and helps me remain aware that everyone is undergoing some sort of suffering. I feel that it will assist me in my future by strengthening my faith and keeping me close to God, especially in times of need. I will continue turning to God, and asking for his guidance throughout my life, notability so in regards to large life experiences such as my career. Experiencing this kind of suffering has shaped me to create a positive impact on those around me. From this pain, I can help others become happy with who and where they are in life. From this pain, I am able to draw from my faith to influence my life and choices in my future career.
