I have always expressed my passions through the arts, including writing, film, photography and drawing. As a prospective film major, my dream is to have the opportunity to oversee the creation of a movie I have written. Any free time I have not put towards school or sports is dedicated to improving my writing, film/photography techniques and editing. My semi-secret passion is performing comedy, whether it be improv or stand-up at local open mics. I pride myself and and often complimented on my work ethic and my genuine love for creation. However, as someone who requires generous financial assistance in order to afford my college experience, I rarely have spending money allotted for buying new art materials or improving my creative ideas. Any extra money that I do not need to pay off my future student loans and college expenses would go towards putting my art into the world. I would love to pay for prints of my photos for exhibits, unique camera lenses and sound equipment and consistent transportation to open mics in my area. I will never see creativity as a task, and finding a career based on my artistic and literary strengths would be a dream come true.
