One thing I'd like to improve about myself is discipline. Discipline is defined as to train oneself to do something in a controlled and habitual way. Discipline builds habits for the long term. I want to have good habits in life such as taking care of my body, eating habits, and getting a good amount of sleep each night. While some of these goals seem small the everlasting effect of taking the time to care for yourself day after day will increase life expectancy, strong passion, and a powerful love for life.

My name is Cole Barger I attend Pueblo County High School in Pueblo, Colorado. I play multiple sports including both baseball and basketball. I attend daily practices and push myself to exceed all coach's, player's and my own expectations. I enjoy working with my family as my grandfather owns a small business. I work during the summers or whenever I can just help out. I currently want to further my education at a 4-year university studying computer science, I believe that my major is a cornerstone to future discoveries and defining our future as a whole. I love being around technology I have even built my own computer. I enjoy doing things with my hands it makes me feel useful and strong. I like serving others being gentle and kind to those I love but also to the people who need it. Just holding the door open or helping an elderly person around is just a way to make the people around better but also yourself. If I were to start my own charity my mission would be to bring joy and kindness to those in need sometimes they don't need money or a donation they just need a bit of love and care in their life. If people showed that they care and love all those around them many would just be more bright and joyful individuals. Those who were able to be inspired then can reciprocate that to others in a similar situation. I would have volunteers and myself give just kindness and love to others through God's word, light and strong quotes, or even just helping out those in need giving them just that mental push that they need to pick themselves back up. The current city I live in, Pueblo, is a bit of a mess and sometimes a dangerous place to be. I wish to just help clean up the city and help those people off the streets. This place can be dangerous for those who don't have shelter. The climate here is ever changing making nights rough and dangerous. Also the crime rate is pretty high as well making it dangerous just to be out sometimes. Just to be able to clean up and help those around could make a difference even just the slightest bit. We just need a few people who want to spread love to everyone to give a little of themselves for others, to sacrifice just a bit as some others have sacrificed more for the same cause. Using scripture and God's word can bring even the people the furthest down back up. Jesus sacrificed his entire life in which was perfect for us to be able to make mistakes and continue to live on. The people just need a little push using God's word, a bit of love and just sacrificing a little of yourself those people can be great. All it takes is just some effort to do more.
