Bio

Hello there! My name is Cody and I am a full-time healthcare worker and a nursing student at Davenport University. I finished my first bachelor's degree at Grand Valley State University with a BS in Exercise Science in 2018. I moved to Chicago to pursue fitness. After a couple of years, COVID19 hit and I moved back to Michigan and had not to clue what I wanted to do. After a year of restructuring my life and aligning my goals within my life, I wanted to go back to school for nursing. I got accepted into Davenport University's nursing program and started in winter 2022. I am also a full-time health care worker at my local hospital. I also worked as a certified nurse aid in the past. I am a very active person when it comes to fitness. I swam competitively for 6 years, took up running on my own leisure, and completed my first marathon, which was the Chicago Marathon, in 2019. I love yoga and cycling. I recently got into Bootcamp style class and I have a blast. With an extensive background in the fitness industry and now the healthcare field, I have always loved helping people nurse back to health or achieve their fitness goals. connecting with people is what I love and getting to know them and providing them with the highest quality of care. I am eager to further myself and what lies ahead.
