How has the pandemic changed my life? This past year was indeed a wild one. I graduated, started college, and got a new cat all from the comfort of my home. That seems so strange for me to say. While my life has been one crazy ride, the pandemic gave me plenty of time to relax and think about things, like what I wanted to study. It is so interesting to see how people's lives have changed over this past year.

Why do I want to pursue higher education? I think this is a very important question to ask up-and-coming students. While it is true, I am not going to sit here and tell you a sob story about my family struggles. Instead, I will tell you one about hope. A little after I made it to my freshman year of college I met this amazing boy. Charming and silly. Everything changed, I saw myself differently. I saw myself wanted to have a family and take care of him. This is why I am pursuing higher education. For the life I know tat I can have if I just try hard enough.
