I am an Honors undergraduate researcher and Hospitality Management student at the University of Central Florida's Rosen College of Hospitality Management. As a recipient of the University of Central Florida's 2026 Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF), my research focuses on autism-inclusive hospitality practices and the experiences of families traveling with children on the autism spectrum, with the goal of advancing accessibility and inclusion throughout the tourism industry. Beyond research, I am passionate about mental health advocacy and community leadership. I serve as Vice President of NAMI on Campus at UCF, where I help build a student-led organization dedicated to mental health awareness, education, and peer support. I also volunteer with the Metabolic Collective, contributing to community engagement and advocacy initiatives focused on metabolic approaches to mental health. In addition, I have shared my lived experience through the Metabolic Mind YouTube platform to help educate and encourage others. As a first-generation college student, I hope to build a career that combines research, nonprofit leadership, and advocacy to create more inclusive communities and improve quality of life for individuals and families.
