I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Communications, with minors in Psychology and Creative Writing. My plan is to graduate in December 2024. After completing my undergraduate degree, I intend to work for a CO-OP while pursuing my Master's degree in Communications through online learning. My ultimate goal is to work as a Communications Manager or Public Relations representative for a company. However, if that is not possible, I plan to work at a school to pay off my student loans while continuing my Master's degree. Once I complete my Master's degree, I aspire to become a Professor and teach Communications at a college or university. I also want to expand my minor in Psychology into a major. Eventually, I would like to have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and then a Master's degree. To achieve this, I plan to have minors in Sociology and Anthropology in between working on my Master's degree, as they are interests that complement Communications and Psychology very well. With the money I earn from working at school, I will be able to pay for some of my classes and the required textbooks. Unfortunately, my university is very restrictive when it comes to scholarships. I cannot apply for most of them because they are created for engineering, medical, or athletic students. Nonetheless, with the money I earn from working at school, I will be able to finish the last few classes I need to complete my Communications degree. This will help me achieve my future goals. Applying for scholarships has been a challenge for me. FAFSA, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, is also restrictive in terms of the money they give. They only consider the income of my parents, not mine, even though I am paying for college myself. I do not have the same financial resources as my parents and have to rely on loans to pay for college. I am struggling to pay off my loans and still have classes to pay for. Therefore, I am applying for as many scholarships on the internet as I can, and this is one of the scholarships I found. I take pride in my academic achievements so far. Your support would allow me to pursue further education and achieve even greater accomplishments in the future with my education.
