I chose to study International Business because it combines many of the values and interests that are important to me. Throughout my life, I have been interested in connecting with people from different backgrounds, learning about other cultures, and understanding how businesses can create positive impacts across communities. International Business provides an opportunity to pursue these interests while developing the skills needed to succeed in a global economy. This degree will impact my life by expanding my passion for both business and travel. I hope to study abroad to work in person alongside other individuals with similar passions.
One of the main reasons I chose this field is my passion for community building. I believe that strong relationships between people, organizations, and countries can lead to greater understanding and cooperation. International Business allows individuals to connect markets, cultures, and ideas, helping communities grow and thrive together. I am excited by the possibility of working with diverse teams and contributing to projects that bring people together to solve challenges and create opportunities.
Traveling and experiencing different cultures are also important to me. I enjoy learning how people live, work, and communicate in various parts of the world. Exposure to different perspectives helps me become more open-minded and adaptable. By studying International Business, I can gain a deeper understanding of global markets while also developing cultural awareness that will help me work effectively with people from different backgrounds. When I traveled to the United Kingdom and France for the first time, I gained a wider perspective on how important it is to teach yourself about other cultures and societies, as it will help you be a more well-rounded person.
Another reason I chose this major is my interest in business management. I want to learn how organizations operate, make strategic decisions, and grow successfully. Understanding management, marketing, finance, and global operations will allow me to contribute to businesses that operate both locally and internationally. I am especially interested in how companies can share innovative solutions and ideas across borders to address common challenges and improve people's lives.
International Business also offers the flexibility to work both abroad and within my local community. I value the opportunity to build a career that can have an impact on a global scale while still making meaningful contributions at home. Whether working with international partners or supporting local businesses expanding into new markets, I hope to help create connections that benefit everyone involved.
Ultimately, I chose International Business because it aligns with my goal of helping unite people and countries through collaboration, trade, and mutual understanding. By combining my interests in community building, cultural learning, travel, and business management, this field will allow me to contribute to a more connected and cooperative world.
