Bio

I am a first-year Doctor of Physical Therapy Student at Duke and a graduate of the University of Washington, where I earned a B.S. in Public Health and B.A. in Dance. Being a dancer taught me to be deeply in tuned to movement quality, alignment, and body awareness, shaping how I understand the body in motion. Moreover, my fascination with the human body extends beyond dance. I am amazed by how the body’s systems work together to support movement and recovery. Courses in anatomy and biology, paired with my dance training, fueled my desire to become an expert in human physiology and exercise science. These intersecting interests naturally led to the field of physical therapy.
