Bold Study Strategies Scholarship
Studying can be such a tedious task for some students. With flash cards not being amusing and easy to keep track of, or other methods of studying, like with friends, not always the best at helping to stay on task. The most useful method for studying in my opinion is to make a melody! Making something catchy and unique That you can sing to yourself during testing is a helpful and easy way to remember information. Think about all the songs you enjoy that are catchy and think of how easy it is to recite the lyrics!
Using a song to remember information has even helped us as children and has carried on into our older ages. For instance, think about how difficult it would be to remember the abc’s without adding the melody to it! During my time in high school one of my teachers helped us remember the quadratic formula in the tune of pop goes the weasel. Since then I’ve used a melody to memorize a lot of points that I needed more work on for school.
Lo Easton's “Wrong Answers Only” Scholarship
1. I don’t ! If I get this scholarship I’ll use it for everything but school ;)
2. To be a grown up I guess. But I don’t want to pay any bills so I’d decided I’ll just pretend to be a student and apply for scholarships and pay for my apartment that way
3. One time I was running track and had to jump over a hurdle. But I fell so I actually never over came it.
Bold Generosity Matters Scholarship
Generosity to me is the feeling of love. Being kind and thinking of others is another way for me to show my love and appreciation. Generosity to me also means the willingness of a person to help others. It also can show a persons character. Being the only considerate person in the crowd to help an elderly person walk across the street, giving someone who seems down a random compliment, or donating blood or plasma to help someone in medical need.
The world is in dire need of more generous souls. I believe that with more people who are willing to think of others, the world wouldn’t have so many homeless, medically in need, or people who have such a negative outlook on life. Generosity can also play a part with environmental issues around us. Generosity doesn’t always mean being kind and generous to humans. You can be kind and generous to the world we live in by picking up trash when you see it, using less plastics, and having more of a green thumb. With more bigheartedness, the world would would look and feel like a better place. The grass would be greener, the oceans more cleaner, and the people more passionate and caring for others.
