Hi my name is Chrystal Wilcox. I attend Barton College. It has one of the best Nursing Programs in my opinion on the East Coast. My dream is to become a nurse and obtain my BSN. I worked at a factory for my years while I was young, the plant closed down back in 2006, so I decided to further my education then, but my goal was to obtain my BSN. Now as I'm looking back on my life, I decided to go back to school, but financially its hard because, I now have a daughter that just graduated from Early college and she only 17 years old and will be going to A & T University for two years. I'm sure, I will have to put my education on hold again for the good of my children, if I'm unable to get any scholarships or loans. This is really my last resort. I have applied for a loan to pay for my education but I was denied. To whom ever that looks over my application I'm very grateful for your consideration. With this being said I know that my education is being delayed but not denied. Thanks in advance.

I plan to impact the world with my knowledge and understanding. The world needs to be educated about their health and their decision making. Together that will make a big impact. Once people are educated they tend to start make healthier a better choices about their diet, but more so they will be able to go to doctor visits because they are being a willing vessel and are staying in tune with their health. It so many people that just needs that little guidance. I want to become a RN so that I can to the one to help educate and guide the people that I come in contact with to better health and making better choices when it comes down to making better decision when it come to life choices.

My determination has helped me to balance life while attending school. This is what makes me more motivated and determined. Everything in life I do for my children. I want them to grow and and stop at nothing to pursue the goal and the career that they long for. I stopped my education and then I started back. Now that I have started back I refuse to stop not because I getting older and I'm not willing to spend the rest of my life in search of a career that I've been longing for. I'm determined that I will complete my degree.

Now I'm ready to continue my education and extend my help and support to all of my patients from the Nursing side of things. My joy and passion is to help others. I'm really overly stressed because I really don't know how I'll continue my education when I have no means to pay for it. When I get stressed I often tend to eat more and more. I'm a border line Diabetic and eat more doesn't really help my situation. Its hard for me to keep going through this difficult time in my life. I want to obtain my BSN more than anything else I've every done. Some many obstacles are standing in my way but I'm going to continue to strive for better results. I would love to eat healthier but I'm being faced with so many challenges. I need to do better. I can maintain a healthy diet by making better choices and changing my eating habits.

Times were always challenging but I some how overcame ever obstacle that was set before me. People are always in and out of relationships but me I was determined that I was going to succeed with working and going to college all at the same time.

I'm a 39 years old African American who has the goals and dream in mind of becoming an RN and while doing so obtaining my BSN. I know that nothing is impossible, but at this present time I'll be going back into the BSN program with no finances to be able to complete it. At this point all I can do is seek God for answers and pray that he will make a way for me to complete my degree as he has made so many ways out of no ways in the past.

Being a single mom has impacted me in so many ways. To start my children were the products that turned out to be something great. I have a 19 year old that went into the Army after he graduated, now my daughter who is 17 she just finished Early College and will be going to college in the Fall. I always wanted and pushed for my children to be the best that they can be and not let nothing stop them. I have been a great role model and an advance for all three of my children. My education has been put on hold because while my children were in school I didn't want them to work so that they could focus entirely on their education. Really I can't take back the past, but if I had to revisit everything all over I would put my education on hold again for the good of my children.
