Bio

From the roar of the engine to the trill of the race, I'm a diehard NASCAR fan, I'll leave my favorite driver out to avoid any bias. I spend my weekends glued to the TV watching and cheering on that driver and analyzing every pit stop. Because my dream is to be in the pit box one day. I will be attending UTI NASCAR Tech this coming year to work for a career on a team. My passion extends beyond the grandstands and into the garage. I love getting my hands dirty, whether its tuning up my own car or help friends and neighbors with their cars. There's nothing quite like the satisfaction of diagnosing a problem and bringing a car back to life. For me, cars aren't just a mode of transportation; they are a way of life. watching a race or working under the hood, I'm living the automotive dream, one lap at a time.

      Track to the Trades
The trade I'm pursuing is Automotive technician. I made the decision, this is the route I wanted to take I began looking into schools. I found UTI NASCAR tech, and decided that's where I wanted to attend school. I also want to work for NASCAR. So, I go talk to my parents about this, and my dad told me he was going to attend the same school, however he had to join the Army, because they were expecting a baby. So, I'm not only living out my dream but his as well. And all I want to do is make him proud. I have a huge passion for the automotive industry and really enjoy the inner workings of the combustion engine, and the intricate processes it takes to trouble shoot these modern cars. My plan with this education is to pursue a place on a NASCAR on pit team. however, knowing that is a hard position to get I am also pursuing the Ford FACT program which allows me to complete schooling as a 80% certified master technician. I really want to pursue this because I hope by gaining this education I can become a top technician, and provide the best for customers vehicles, I want to be the technician in the shop that gets the car no one can figure out and be able to fix it in a timely manner and back on the road serving its owner. I would love to be the technician that the engineers speak to when they cannot figure out what a vehicle is doing, but I was able to figure it out. I want to bring back trust in the technician and know that when a vehicle leaves my care that it has truly been repaired to the highest standard. I would love to build back trust in the automotive industry. I hear so many stories that are negative, I want to be that positive story with the service they were given. It truly inspires me to continue to do the best for other people. I will treat every vehicle as my own. one thing my dad always has told me is that when they repair trucks in the Army, he tells his Soldiers “If you wouldn't put your own children or family in that vehicle than its not done'. I live by those words myself. I truly believe a lot of my early years were adverse do to the profession my dad has, being a career Soldier has left my mom to run the house most of my life. My dad would always be gone either in the field or deployed to Iraq. I remember in his most recent deployment to Iraq in 2020, he was at the base the Iran attack with ballistic missiles. I remember talking to him the night before it happened and him telling us everything was fine. Then at 10AM the next day the reports started coming in over the news that a base in Iraq was just struck by 10 Theater Ballistic Missiles and when they said the name of the base my heart sank. It was my dad’s base. All I could do was prey, I remember my mom crying and freaking out wondering if dad was Okay, I remember feeling so helpless. But I did everything to calm them down and when he called, we were all so relieved he was ok, but I had to try and be the voice of reason he knew more than I did, and he told us the night before everything
