I am a driven student and athlete whose goals are centered around family, success, and service. One of my biggest motivations is my desire to one day give my parents the opportunity to retire comfortably after all the sacrifices they have made for me. Their hard work inspires me to push myself and build a future where I can support them.
I plan to pursue a career in finance and eventually start my own firm. I believe finance is a powerful tool that can create stability and opportunity for individuals and families. Through my work, I hope to help people grow their wealth while also teaching them how to manage money responsibly.
Beyond personal success, I want to give back and be a positive example for younger generations. By making financial education more widely available, I hope to help young people understand how to save, invest, and build better futures for themselves and their communities.

Wrestling has come to mean far more to me than just a sport. While it is a sport of grappling with an opponent, it has also taught me that in life, you often have to grapple with your own mind, spirit, and even your body. Recently, I moved from Boston to Stamford, leaving behind everything familiar. I decided to take a risk and try out for the wrestling team at Westhill High School. That decision turned out to be one of the most meaningful choices I have made. Wrestling quickly became a place where I could challenge myself, build my skills, and grow as a person, both on and off the mat.
Through wrestling, I have learned discipline, resilience, and the value of perseverance. My dedication to the sport has led me to nearly 100 career wins, become a two-time state qualifier, a two-time LL state placer, and a two-time FCIAC place winner. Along the way, I have grown into a senior captain, a role that has taught me the importance of leadership, responsibility, and supporting my teammates. Leadership in wrestling is not just about winning matches; it is about being someone who others can trust, someone who sets an example of hard work, integrity, and determination every day.
The path to these achievements has not been easy. Wrestling has demanded grit, long hours of grueling practices, and the discipline to make weight, sometimes requiring difficult cuts that test both body and mind. Each early morning practice, each late night of drilling, and every match where I pushed beyond exhaustion has taught me resilience and mental toughness. These challenges have shaped me into a person who does not back down from difficulty and who understands the value of commitment, preparation, and perseverance.
One of the most transformative aspects of my wrestling experience has been the relationships I have built with my teammates, especially Bryce, Will, and Paul. These three have constantly pushed me to be a better person, both on and off the mat. They challenge me during practices, encourage me to overcome obstacles, and hold me accountable when I fall short. Their guidance and support have not only made me a stronger wrestler but also taught me lessons about humility, perseverance, and teamwork that I carry into every aspect of my life. Wrestling has shown me that the right people surrounding you—those who push, inspire, and challenge you—can make all the difference in how you grow.
The coaches I have had have also profoundly influenced my perspective, not just on wrestling but on life. They have taught me that success is not only measured by victories but by effort, growth, and character. Watching them guide younger wrestlers, push us during grueling practices, and offer wisdom in moments of struggle has shown me the impact the right mentor can have. Their lessons have extended beyond the mat, helping me approach challenges in school, work, and personal life with resilience, focus, and confidence.
Wrestling has become more than just a sport for me; it has become a community, a family, and a path for personal development. It has taught me the value of grit, hard work, and perseverance through long practices, tough weight cuts, and challenging matches. It has shown me how strong relationships with teammates and mentors can push you to be better every day. Wrestling has shaped me into someone who values discipline, integrity, and the power of support, and it has prepared me to face challenges in life with confidence and determination.
