With the very recent loss of my grandmother, my mom has lost both of her parents. A couple of weeks back we went to go visit my family in Alaska, My grandmother was one of those people. It was so nice to see her after such a long time and to see my mother so happy brought joy to my heart. We all laughed, ate, talked, and had a good time over the span of the week we were there. So to see her go and to see the hurt my moms going through, I myself am having a hard time accepting it. With my grandmother now being gone, as my grandfather before her, My mom has lost both her parents. I lost some pretty good grandparents as well, when I was still young we moved away from my original home down to where we are now because my mom couldn't do it there anymore, but she wanted my grandparents to come but they didn't want to leave home just as much as I didn't want to at first. So with that after the age of five years old I never really got to see my grandparents, was only able to call them all the time. As time went on and I got older the news of my grandfather passing was the first loss in my family that I felt sad about, I took up after my grandfather the most. His interests became mine and it made my mother happy. So I worked and studied myself to the bone in order to get this passion of mine where it is today and go to school for it. Then about 5 days ago we got news of my grandmother's passing. After seeing my mother break down into tears I wanted to give up. My mother is a strong person, even now she's working to provide for me and my siblings and being strong for them. My passing of my grandmother is sad to me and everyone else yes, but with the strength, my mother is showing and passing on to me, I'm doing my best in school with passing grades, working hard to be ready for college next year, and trying to raise money for said schools tuition. I fight to achieve what I want in the memory of my grandparents, and for the sake of my mother to not let her down in these trying times.

I plan on pursuing knowledge through a trade schooler because it's a way to beat the system and make a profit. Attending a 4-year college is very expensive, and some people go to get a degree that's not very useful in the work world. It's not about me not wanting to go to an expensive university and learn what I want to know, that would be great, but first I want to be able to go to a trade school, knowing what I want to do for a skill that'll not only pay for my bills but would also help my family out as well. My plan is to go to a technical school and become a mechanic, My late grandfather did it as did him before him. My grandfather was a good man who had a very high interest in cars, but I rarely got to see him because of his work. Now growing up without him, made me wish that I could show him my love for what he loved too. In honor of his memory and the fact his interest passed over to me I want to be able to take this passion and use it to my and my family's advantage. When my mother was young she was with my grandfather always in the garage, always working on a car. It was sad to see my mother when he passed. But with each passing day, she says I remind her more and more of him, and that makes me feel good to know that my interest makes my mother happy, not only because I'm her son but also because her dad had the same interest as me. I also have dreams of working myself to the bone now and in the future going to trade school and come out knowing the knowledge I was seeking and taking that to start my own businesses. Becoming my own boss, following my passion, providing for my family, and doing it all in the name of my grandfather. I think my decision to go to a trade school will lead me down the path that's right for me. So all in all my top overall reasons for going to a trade school are to; honor my grandfather's memory and make my mother proud in the process, provide for my family, current and future, and follow my passion to the fullest.
