Hi! I'm Christina, I love to smile and laugh. I love being around my family and friends.
When I was younger I always wanted to be different and unique because I think being the same or "normal" is boring. When I was in the 9th grade I learned I had a love for press-on nails. I kept buying and wearing them because I loved how my style of nails was different from my friends. In the middle of my junior year of high school, I realized instead of just buying nails that other people could go buy I could make my own! At the time and even now I don't have that much money for a whole lot of supplies but I made do with what I had.
Once my senior year hit me I knew normal college wasn't for me no matter how hard I tried. I thought about my decisions for a while and realized I could go to cosmetology school and get my license as a Nail Technician. I’m about to graduate high school and I will start my classes in the fall.
In the future, I want to own my own business, Cutesy by Christina!! I want to make and sell press on nails as well as do acrylics. I’ve always dreamt of having my own business and I cannot wait to see my dream come true.

When I was younger I always wanted to be different and unique because I think being the same or "normal" is boring. I always wanted my hair dyed or my clothes different. When I was in the 9th grade I learned I had a love for press-on nails. I finally was able to give my hair a break from all the box dye. I kept buying and wearing press-ons because I loved how my style of nails was different from my friends.
I felt like I was disappointing my family. I thought about my decisions for a while and realized I could go to cosmetology school and get my license as a Nail Technician. I’m about to graduate high school and will start my classes in the fall.
I am passionate about cosmetology because I want to be able to make people feel confident and happy in their own skin by just adding something small into their life. It’s amazing to see how something simple as getting your nails done can change your whole day.
I always thought it was so cliche to say I wanted to change the world, like come one everyone says it. Now that I’m looking at it, I do want to change the world but in my own way. It’s 2022 and being who you are and being unique is what it’s all about. Helping someone be who they are comfortably is probably my biggest goal. The services that cosmetology provides help eliminate stress, raise self-esteem and improve the health of hair and nails, for me to be a part of that would truly make me one of the happiest people in the world.
In the future, I want to own my own business, Cutesy by Christina!! I want to make and sell press-on nails as well as acrylics. I hope after I master the nail tech field I could branch out into hairstyling. I want to become my own nail polish and hair dye brand. I’ve always dreamt of having my own business and I cannot wait to see my dreams come true.
