Christina Johnson 500 Boyds school road apt 701 Gettysburg, PA 17325 (717)-339-8121 May 22, 2021 To whom this may concern: Hi, my name is Christina Johnson. I am currently enrolled in the LPN to BSN at Wilson college located in Chambersburg, PA. I have been an LPN for 3.5 years now but have worked in long term care for a total of 8 years starting, in the kitchen then as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I choose to work in the medical field because I always enjoyed learning about people and helping those that are in need. When I was in high school for my senior project, I volunteered at a nursing home polishing nails and making hot chocolate for the residents. I really enjoyed every minute of it. I decided to work in the kitchen at the nursing home and I begin to form great relationships with the nursing staff who taught me so much. This encouraged me to go to LPN school where I learned even more about the hard work of not just a nurse but friendships and companionships that were formed. My goal is to become a labor and delivery nurse then Nurse practitioner. I chose this as my specialty because of the great experiences of being able to watch multiple births and too have two great/life changing experiences of my own. I currently work as a in home pediatric nurse at Aveanna Healthcare. I’ve been employed for this company since Feb 2020, and I absolutely love it! What I admire the most about my job is not only the strength of the children but also their parents. I know for myself I strive to be the best parent and role model for my children. Getting my degree in nursing is one of my biggest goals for now but I plan to go as far as I can. Yes, being a full-time parent, working full and continuing school is exhausting most days but I’m excited to say I’m almost to the finish line (spring 2022). I’m even more excited to say I did it! I am extremely grateful to have this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. Sincerely, Christina Johnson,LPN
