I come from a rather poor family. My dad is a pastor and my mom helps clean at a local church (not the church my dad is the pastor for). I have five siblings, three younger and live at home and two are older and in college. My parents already have a lot to worry about financially. They have to feed and provide basic needs for us. I don’t want to put stress onto them by putting them in a situation where they think they need to help me pay for college. I want to do this on my own. However, I currently have zero dollars saved up to help me pay for college. I don't have a college fund. I have not put myself in the greatest situation when it comes to paying for college. This is all my own fault. I am now making strides to improve my situationship. It first starts with this scholarship. This scholarship would be a great help to me.
