My crucial attributes, which empower my never-ending drive for a successful future career, have unfolded during my early years. The academic process has enhanced my cognitive functions and mindset as I have progressed. Additionally, academics revealed my strong attributes that will be advantageous for a promising future. From the heap of my attributes, a few of them will be the foundation of my endeavor for remarkable change. Over the years of tenacious learning, I have shown academic excellence in numerous curricula. Furthermore, I have exhibited proficiency in studies associated with the STEM program. This well-rounded curriculum is suitable for robust analytical thinkers and adept problem solvers. These similar attributes are actively present in my intellect as I progressively ace STEM-related studies and fuel my drive to be ambitious for my future career. Excluding academics, I developed an immense passion for automobiles and their complex systems. From taking automotive courses to learning new information about automobiles from the media, I have accumulated vast knowledge about what comprises an automobile. I have spent my free time creating remarkable contraptions from LEGO pieces. Many LEGO pieces are constructed as cars, high-speed hand-cranked gearboxes, or even vacuum-powered engines and turbines. My definitive imagination is the only thing restricting my creativity, but both are crucial for my future career. Additionally, my other few attributes from hobbies will also fuel my significant ambition. What career do automotive professionals have so they can think analytically well, solve problems effortlessly with knowledge, and have limitless creativity? From my inference, those professionals are known as automotive engineers. My drive to become a successful automotive engineer, while utilizing my attributes, has never discouraged me. The primary purpose of this ambition is for me to make a difference in the automotive industry while fulfilling my passion for automobiles. Furthermore, I want my community of African Americans to be represented in different white collar professions. As many minority groups in America are underrepresented in the workforce, I will step up and be the social hero for African American workers. My future is rapidly transforming into the past, so my mental goal is to utilize my time wisely and effectively to prepare for my promising future. My remarkable changes to the automotive industry will involve me utilizing all of my attributes to work as a top-tier automotive engineer. I will innovate game-changing automotive systems and technology to satisfy the customer's necessities and welfare. These innovations could range from the creation of electric vehicles to autonomous driving. Satisfied customers of the automotive company I will operate in will construct a healthy financial and personal bond. This gradually increases the number of customers willing to purchase automobiles with highly innovative technology. Whatever it takes to be a successful engineer will be complicated, but my attributes and mental goals will permit me to change the automotive industry.

A decade ago, it all began with me racing Hot Wheels cars on an imaginary race track packed with creative, yet mildly ruinous, scenarios. I wasn't mentally conscious to fully know what an automobile was yet; all I knew was that a car had four wheels. While studying in school, I aced multiple subjects involving critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Based on my academic records, STEM will serve as the foundation for my future due to my inherent characteristics. From this standpoint, I realized that my aspirations complement innovations in engineering and technology, but what will be my future career? I initially decided to become a future chemical engineer because I admired how various chemicals reacted during experiments. Afterward, I felt insecure because the career experience didn’t seem very inspiring from my outlook; something else must have caught my eye. Occasionally, I would scroll mindlessly on YouTube to encounter intriguing videos of numerous styles of automobiles showcased or racing against each other. It doesn't take me long to be filled with curiosity. Informational videos explaining how diverse automobile systems work and how they are assembled appeared on my recommendation page. Soon after, videos of resourceful individuals constructing creative automobile-oriented mechanisms in their homes began to appear. I admired every video with similar themes as I learned something new every hour while binge-watching them. One day, I had the most ground-breaking thought: since I became an automotive enthusiast, why not make it my future engineering career? That's when I knew my ambition was to become an automotive engineer. Engineers construct and fortify the infrastructures of distinct nations by deciphering real-world adversities. Automotive engineering concentrates on strengthening the integrity of the global automotive industry. I hope my passion for automobiles and academic proficiency will become one of my many contributions to this industry. In the future, my primary goal as an automotive engineer is to design advanced mechanisms that improve automotive drivability and provide optimal convenience for drivers and passengers. Many notable in-development components that could positively impact automobiles are Electric Vehicles (EV), autonomous driving, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and Artificial Intelligence (AI) integration. My future will not only focus on creating groundbreaking automobiles and technology but also on serving as an inspiring role model for African Americans in white-collar professions. We have made remarkable progress in America in the past, and we must uphold our unity and strength to ensure our voices are heard and our identities defined. Not only will this scholarship provide me with an affordable yet high-quality path to becoming an automotive engineer, but it will also allow me to share my message with African Americans, proclaiming that we all embody some form of Black excellence. Even if only a few read my work of representation, I believe a small impact can inspire great change.
