From a young age, I have been passionate about helping people feel confident and express themselves, which led me to create The Chosen Look, my beauty and styling business. Guided by my faith in Christ, I realized that true empowerment extends beyond appearance—it includes mental and emotional wellness. My ultimate goal is to open a Black-owned hair salon that doubles as a Christ-centered therapy office. In the Black community, seeking mental health support often carries a stigma, leaving many to struggle in silence. By combining a salon with a safe, faith-driven therapy space, I hope to create an environment where clients can care for themselves inside and out, feel heard, and be spiritually encouraged. Through this vision, I aim to empower my community, normalize mental health conversations, and inspire holistic wellness.
