Hello! My name is Chloe Farreau, and soon I'm going to be a senior in high school. In the near future, I hope to one day reach a higher education to be an incredibly successful dentist. I aspire to make people happier by giving them another reason to smile every day! With a range of community-centered roles, I’ve built strong skills in mentorship, customer service, and organization. As a mentor in Minds of Tomorrow, I guided young students through STEAM projects, encouraging creativity and teamwork in a tech-focused learning environment. My internship with the Foundation for New Education Initiatives (FNEI) deepened my understanding of nonprofit work; I supported Miami-Dade schools by coordinating events and attending board meetings to gain insights into strategic planning for educational programs. This experience strengthened my adaptability, communication, and awareness of the value of educational support. Additionally, I worked as a receptionist at an insurance company, managing calls, client greetings, and schedules to ensure smooth office operations and positive client interactions. I’ve also pursued advanced French studies, earning a B2 certification by passing DELF exams, which reflects my dedication to language and cultural understanding. These roles have equipped me with strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. My experiences fostered a passion for creating inclusive, supportive environments, and I look forward to bringing this dedication to future.

"Why can't I have a better daughter?" was always the painful conclusion of every degrading speech that came after what my parents viewed as a disappointing moment. That day, however, it stuck with me. As the phrase left my parents' mouth, it entered and never left my mind. As I sat there, not being able to move a muscle, I felt inadequate and hurt and hoped that the front of my hair was long enough to hide my bloodshot eyes and the tear running down my cheek. At that moment, I felt paralyzed and frozen in time. The only thing resonating was the phrase, "Why can't I ever be good enough?"
Throughout my formative years, being constantly compared to others impacted my self-esteem and self-worth. As a result, I would often compare myself to others, always thinking to myself, "Why them and not me?" thinking that I would never surpass anyone, including myself. My repeated self-criticizing moments ended my self-confidence. Due to this, instead of every win being an accomplishment, I found it to be a reminder, a shadow cast over me by my parents, that I would never succeed.
However, being around the positive influence of good friends at the start of high school changed my life for the better. They have taught me that regardless of my parents' negative feedback or the self-criticism I inflicted on myself, I define who I am. The frequent retelling of their reassuring words: "I never knew you were so smart" and "Who knew you were so creative," made me understand that I am enough just how I am. Their support helped me slowly build confidence in myself and my capabilities, which allowed me to take on more leadership roles over time. I realized that they saw qualities of me that I did not see in myself–
my creativity, intellect, and perseverance. Because of their support, I now accept any leadership opportunities that come my way, such as being on the board for Key Club, CodeArt, and Black Student Union at my school. These experiences have enhanced my leadership abilities and deepened my understanding of teamwork, initiative, and the impact of supporting one another in a community. I also trust my abilities and take initiative in extracurriculars, group projects, and school clubs.
These moments of feeling inadequate and support from friends have helped me become more self-reliant and stronger. Instead of the phrase "Why can't I ever be good enough" resonating in my head, it turned into "I am so proud of myself for doing this," regardless of the situation's outcome, whether I succeed or not. I am now setting goals I want to achieve for myself, and whatever the outcome of those goals is, I would be proud of myself for trying either way, without the negativity of others getting in my way. The path to success is about more than being perfect every step of the way. It is more about being your true self and embracing growth throughout the journey. This realization has empowered me to set goals for my development rather than seeking approval from others. Advice that I would give to someone facing the same circumstances is, success is now defined by my effort, resilience, and progress rather than by perfection or external validation.
Eco-Warrior Scholarship
In my daily life, I try to make intentional choices to live sustainably because I believe that even small efforts can have a meaningful impact on reducing our collective carbon footprint. Living sustainably is not always easy, especially with our busy schedules and the convenience of single-use items, but I’ve found that by being more aware of my actions, I can make better choices that help the environment.
One of the main ways I live sustainably is by reducing waste. I’m very conscious about using reusable items whenever possible, such as bringing a reusable water bottle and using a lunch container instead of plastic bags. When grocery shopping, I bring my own reusable bags instead of relying on plastic ones. These small changes may not seem like much, but over time, they add up to a significant reduction in the amount of waste I produce. Additionally, I’m careful to recycle whenever possible, separating materials like paper, plastic, and glass, so they can be repurposed instead of ending up in a landfill.
Another way I try to reduce my carbon footprint is by conserving energy at home. I’ve made it a habit to turn off lights, fans, and appliances when I’m not using them. I also try to minimize the amount of water I use by taking shorter showers and turning off the faucet while brushing my teeth. These might seem like small actions, but they help reduce the amount of energy and water I consume daily. I also make an effort to walk or bike to nearby places instead of driving. This not only helps reduce emissions but also keeps me active and healthy.
I believe that reducing our carbon footprint is incredibly important because the way we live today has a direct impact on the planet. Climate change is a real and growing threat that affects everyone. The more we consume resources and produce waste, the more we contribute to problems like rising temperatures, extreme weather events, and pollution. If we don’t take action to reduce our carbon footprint now, future generations will face even more severe consequences, including food shortages, water scarcity, and loss of biodiversity.
Living sustainably is about making choices that align with a healthier future for both ourselves and the planet. It’s not just about saving energy or recycling; it’s about creating a mindset where we are aware of how our actions affect the environment. By making small changes in my own life, I hope to inspire others to think about their habits as well. For instance, if more people start using reusable bags, driving less, or conserving water, we can make a big impact collectively. It’s not about being perfect but about making progress wherever we can.
Ultimately, I believe that each of us has a responsibility to do our part in taking care of the Earth. By being intentional in the choices I make, I’m trying to contribute to a more sustainable future. Every little effort counts, and if we all make small changes, it can lead to a healthier, cleaner world for everyone.
Gary & Judy Bowler Trade and Technical Scholarship
I’m a motivated student with a passion for learning, especially in fields related to science and healthcare. Over the years, I’ve gained valuable experience through various volunteer opportunities that allowed me to give back to my community. For example, I’ve spent time mentoring younger students and tutoring kids, which taught me how meaningful it is to help others learn and grow. These experiences have made me realize how much I enjoy working with people and making a positive impact.
After exploring different career paths, I’ve chosen to pursue a career in dentistry. The combination of science, hands-on skills, and the ability to directly help others drew me to this field. My goal is to study pre-dentistry in college, which will help me prepare for dental school and ultimately become a dentist. I’m excited about the opportunity to continue my education because I believe it will allow me to make a real difference in people’s lives by improving their health and confidence.
In the future, I hope to use my skills not only to build a successful career but also to continue giving back to my community, whether through free dental clinics or volunteering my time to mentor others who are interested in healthcare careers.
Andre' Burchelle Roach Scholarship
My name is Chloe Farreau, and I’m a senior in High School who is passionate about learning and making the most out of every opportunity I can. I’ve always been curious and motivated, especially when it comes to subjects that help me understand how things work. My biggest passion is in science and health because I’ve always wanted to help people, and my ultimate goal is to become a dentist one day.
I’m someone who loves challenges, whether it’s taking on difficult classes or getting involved in school activities that push me out of my comfort zone. I’ve taken on leadership roles in some of my school’s clubs and participated in projects that allowed me to work with others, think creatively, and develop my skills. These experiences have taught me a lot about teamwork and responsibility, and they’ve made me even more excited about what’s possible if I keep working hard.
One of the reasons I’m applying for this scholarship is because I’m aware of how expensive college can be, especially since I plan to pursue a career in dentistry. This path requires many years of education, so being able to start saving up now would be a big help. If I receive this scholarship, it would go towards supporting my studies and preparing me for the future. For example, I plan to invest in resources that will help me prepare for standardized tests like the SAT, as well as take courses in subjects like biology and chemistry to build a strong foundation for my college studies.
I’m also passionate about helping others, especially younger students. I’ve volunteered my time to tutor and mentor kids, and these experiences have shown me how much of a difference one person can make in someone else’s life. I believe that by furthering my education, I can make an even greater impact in the future, not just as a professional but also as someone who can give back to my community.
Receiving this scholarship would mean a lot to me because it would help ease the financial pressure of preparing for college while allowing me to focus on my academic and career goals. I’m committed to working hard, staying dedicated, and using every resource available to achieve my dream of becoming a dentist. By investing in my education, this scholarship would not only help me but would also empower me to help others in the long run. Thank you for considering my application. I’m excited about the future and the possibilities that lie ahead, and I believe that with this support, I can make a positive difference both in my own life and in the lives of those around me.
Learner SAT Tutoring Scholarship
Preparing for the SAT is something I’m taking seriously because I know it’s important for getting into college and pursuing my dreams of becoming a dentist. I have a few strategies that I’m using to make sure I’m ready for the test, and I’ve set some clear goals to keep me motivated. Here’s how I’m approaching it.
I started by taking a couple of practice tests to see where I’m at and figure out which areas I need to work on. From those tests, I noticed that I’m pretty good at the Reading and Writing sections, which might be because of all the reading I do and the writing assignments I’ve done in school. However, Math is definitely a section where I need to improve. By knowing where my weaknesses are, I can focus on those areas instead of spending time on things I already understand well.
Since the SAT is a big test, I know that cramming won’t work, so I made a study schedule that I try to stick to every week. I usually study for about an hour each day after school, and I alternate between subjects so I don’t get bored. For example, on Mondays and Wednesdays, I focus on Math practice, especially algebra and problem-solving questions, because those are the hardest for me. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I focus on the Reading and Writing sections to sharpen my comprehension skills and grammar.
I’ve been using free resources like Khan Academy because they have SAT-specific practice questions and videos that explain how to solve different types of problems. It’s been helpful because if I get stuck on something, I can just watch a video to understand it better. I’m also using SAT prep books that I borrowed from the library to get extra practice.
I know the SAT is important for getting into college, especially since I’m interested in the pre-dental program at certain Florida schools, so I’ve set a target score to help motivate me. My goal is to score above a 1300 because I think that would really boost my chances of getting into a good school and possibly getting scholarships. To keep myself on track, I’ve set smaller goals like trying to improve my Math score by 50 points in the next month. This way, I can see progress as I go, which keeps me motivated.
The main reason I’m putting so much effort into preparing for the SAT is that I want to have as many options as possible when it comes to college. I know that a good SAT score can make a big difference, not just for getting accepted into competitive programs, but also for qualifying for scholarships. Since I want to go into a pre-dental program and eventually become a dentist, I want to set myself up for success early on. In the end, I know that all this studying and preparation will pay off. The SAT is just one step toward my bigger goals, but doing well on it would be a huge confidence boost and a great start to my college journey.
Wicked Fan Scholarship
I am a devoted fan of Wicked because it challenges traditional storytelling and brings a fresh perspective to one of the most well-known fairy tales, The Wizard of Oz. From the first moment I heard “Defying Gravity,” I was captivated not only by the musical’s powerful score but also by the themes that resonate so deeply with me: the struggle for acceptance, the complexity of identity, and the courage to stand up for what you believe in, even when the world misunderstands you.
At its core, Wicked is a story about friendship and the way our relationships shape who we are. The evolving bond between Elphaba and Glinda is compelling because it reveals that our differences can become sources of strength and growth. Their friendship demonstrates that true connection transcends societal expectations and surface-level judgments. This theme has had a profound impact on me, reminding me of the importance of understanding others’ perspectives and embracing the messiness of human relationships.
Elphaba, in particular, inspires me. Her journey from being an outcast to embracing her power and values is a narrative that gives me hope. Her defiance against injustice and her determination to stay true to herself, even when it means being labeled as “wicked,” embody the idea of staying resilient in the face of adversity. Growing up, I struggled with self-doubt and a desire to fit in, often feeling the pressure to conform. Watching Elphaba’s story unfold helped me realize that my differences should be celebrated, not hidden.
The musical also delves into how narratives are constructed and manipulated. It shows that the “truth” can be distorted, depending on who tells the story. This theme is a reminder to think critically about the information we consume and the judgments we make about others. In a world where labels are quickly assigned, Wicked encourages us to look deeper and understand that people are more than the roles they are forced to play.
Another reason I love Wicked is the way it balances humor, heartbreak, and triumph. Glinda’s character brings comedic lightness, but she also experiences her own arc of growth, learning about sacrifice and the consequences of privilege. The musical captures the full range of human experience, making it relatable and emotionally powerful. The music itself adds to this emotional depth. Songs like “For Good” remind us of the lasting impact people can have on our lives, even when paths diverge. Every time I hear it, I am reminded of the friendships and relationships that have shaped me for the better.
Ultimately, Wicked is more than just a musical for me; it is a story that has empowered me to be braver, kinder, and more empathetic. It has challenged me to think about how I perceive others and inspired me to live authentically. The show’s message of defying the labels that society places on us continues to influence how I navigate my own journey, making me a devoted and grateful fan of this extraordinary work of art.
Hilliard L. "Tack" Gibbs Jr. Memorial Scholarship
My name is Chloe Farreau, and I am a driven, service-oriented student with a passion for using science to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. Growing up in Miami, I witnessed firsthand how socioeconomic disparities affect healthcare access and quality, sparking my desire to become a dentist who bridges these gaps. I have always believed that science is more than a subject; it’s a tool to create change and a way to uplift communities. This belief has fueled my academic journey and inspired my future aspirations.
The opportunity to pursue a degree in science has always felt like a calling. From my earliest memories, I was captivated by how the human body works, marveling at its complexity and the possibilities of medical science to improve lives. This fascination deepened through high school, where I challenged myself academically and cultivated a strong foundation in the sciences. My experiences in leadership roles, such as serving as vice president of CodeArt, WebMaster of Key Club, and historian of the Black Student Union, further shaped my appreciation for using knowledge to drive impact. For instance, at CodeArt, I worked to make technology education accessible to girls, empowering them through creative coding projects. These experiences have reinforced my belief that service and innovation go hand in hand.
I chose to pursue a degree in science not only because of my love for the subject but because of the tangible difference it can make in underserved communities. My goal is to attend dental school and specialize in community-based dentistry, focusing on preventive care and outreach. I envision creating mobile dental clinics to serve populations with limited access to healthcare. By bringing dental services directly to schools and community centers, I aim to eliminate barriers and promote health education from a young age. Additionally, I am committed to mentoring aspiring healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds, helping them navigate their academic and career paths.
This scholarship would be a crucial step in turning my vision into reality. It would alleviate the financial burden of my studies, allowing me to focus fully on my academic and extracurricular pursuits. More importantly, it would empower me to continue serving my community, investing time and resources into projects that inspire and uplift others. The support from this scholarship would mean that I could dedicate myself to research, community outreach, and academic excellence, all while preparing to make a lasting impact through my career in dentistry.
Post-graduation, my dream is to establish a practice that goes beyond patient care, acting as a hub for community engagement and education. I also hope to advocate for healthcare policy changes that improve access to dental services nationwide. Whether through creating innovative delivery methods or mentoring future dentists, I want my work to be defined by a commitment to equity and service.
Ultimately, I am passionate about creating a world where everyone has the resources and knowledge to care for their health, regardless of their background or socioeconomic status. This scholarship would not just support my education; it would be an investment in my mission to make healthcare accessible, compassionate, and transformative for all.
Chris Ford Scholarship
From a young age, I have been fascinated by the intricate connection between science and people’s well-being. My journey began with an innate curiosity about the world of healthcare and grew into a passion for dentistry, a field where I can combine my love for science, precision, and service. As someone who believes in creating lasting change, my dream is to become a dentist who uses my expertise not only to treat patients but to uplift communities.
Growing up in Miami, I was exposed to the realities of healthcare inequity, especially among marginalized populations. Witnessing people struggle to access quality dental care planted a seed in me: I wanted to be a catalyst for change. This commitment has only grown stronger through my involvement in various community initiatives. My leadership roles, including serving as the webmaster of Key Club, vice president of CodeArt, and historian of the Black Student Union, have given me opportunities to impact others positively and reinforced the importance of service-driven leadership.
One of my most formative experiences was volunteering with “Minds of Tomorrow,” an innovation program for young people in Miami. As a mentor, I worked with students to explore technology and creativity, fostering an environment where they felt empowered to dream big. It was there that I realized the transformative power of mentorship: how just one guiding voice can spark a chain reaction of growth, confidence, and inspiration. I plan to carry this spirit of mentorship into my future career, using my platform as a healthcare professional to educate and empower my community.
My vision as a future dentist goes beyond traditional patient care. I want to establish mobile dental clinics to reach under-resourced areas, offering free or low-cost dental screenings and preventive education. By addressing barriers such as transportation and affordability, I aim to improve the oral health outcomes of those who are often left behind. Additionally, I aspire to work with schools to implement comprehensive dental health programs, teaching young people the importance of oral hygiene and how it ties into overall well-being.
Equally important to me is the concept of cultural competence in healthcare. As someone who understands the significance of heritage and cultural identity, I want to ensure that patients feel seen, respected, and heard. I believe that dental practices should be inclusive spaces where everyone, regardless of their background, feels safe. This requires empathy, open-mindedness, and a commitment to continuous learning—qualities I strive to embody in everything I do.
I am also committed to advancing research in dentistry to contribute to global improvements in healthcare practices. My hope is to explore innovative solutions that address the oral health needs of people worldwide, especially in developing regions. Whether through technological advancements or community-based outreach programs, I want my work to reflect a blend of scientific innovation and human-centered care.
Ultimately, my career goal is not just to heal but to inspire. I want to be a role model for young people, especially those from underserved communities, showing them that dreams are attainable through hard work, resilience, and a commitment to serving others. With the foundation provided by my academic and leadership experiences, I am eager to make a lasting impact and contribute to a world where healthcare is a right, not a privilege. This scholarship would empower me to take the next step in fulfilling this vision.
El Jefe Entrepreneurial Scholarship
I am an aspiring dentist, a passionate advocate for youth innovation, and a strong believer in the power of service and mentorship. Growing up in Miami, a diverse city teeming with opportunity and challenges, I witnessed the transformative potential of community-based initiatives, especially those led by young, creative minds. My experiences as a youth mentor and a leader in various student organizations have shaped my vision for the future: to combine dentistry and entrepreneurship in ways that uplift and empower my community.
From an early age, I developed a love for science and a fascination with how healthcare can impact people’s lives. This interest evolved into a desire to become a dentist, but I soon realized that I wanted to do more than just treat patients—I wanted to be an entrepreneur who makes dentistry accessible and equitable for all. My vision is to create a dental practice that prioritizes community health, offering affordable services and education to underserved populations. Through outreach programs and partnerships with local schools, I hope to demystify oral health and inspire the next generation to care for themselves and others.
My experience leading youth-focused initiatives has prepared me well for this endeavor. As the webmaster of Key Club, vice president of CodeArt, and historian of the Black Student Union, I learned to manage large-scale projects and engage diverse audiences. In my role at CodeArt, I promoted coding education among girls, leading workshops where participants built confidence through creativity and problem-solving. My time with the Black Student Union taught me the importance of preserving cultural heritage and uplifting voices that are often marginalized. Each of these roles strengthened my leadership skills and fueled my passion for creating opportunities for those who need them most.
One of my most impactful experiences was mentoring students in the “Minds of Tomorrow” program, which focuses on innovation and technology for kids. Guiding them through projects that fused creativity with technical skills, I witnessed how mentorship can ignite a passion for learning. It reinforced my belief that entrepreneurship is not just about building businesses but about building people. This philosophy will drive my future initiatives, whether in dental health or broader community projects.
To address Miami’s unique challenges, such as disparities in healthcare access, I plan to use my entrepreneurial mindset to create scalable solutions. One idea is to develop mobile dental clinics equipped to serve neighborhoods with limited resources. These clinics could partner with schools to provide preventive care and dental hygiene workshops. By combining my knowledge of healthcare with innovative, community-based delivery methods, I hope to make a measurable impact on public health.
My ultimate goal is to inspire young people, especially those who come from underserved communities, to see the possibilities within themselves. Whether through mentorship, education, or healthcare initiatives, I want to lead by example and show that true entrepreneurship is about creating lasting change. Winning this scholarship would not only help me achieve my academic goals but also empower me to give back to the community that shaped me. With this support, I am ready to build a future where innovation meets compassion, and where my entrepreneurial spirit contributes to a healthier, more equitable society.
Rev. Frank W. Steward Memorial Scholarship
I am a dedicated and driven individual passionate about healthcare, with a specific goal of becoming a dentist to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. My journey to this career has been shaped by my experiences in mentorship, volunteer work, and academic dedication. In addition to completing my DELF exams up to B2, which demonstrates my commitment to learning French and gaining cultural insights, I’ve engaged in diverse roles that have taught me valuable skills and a sense of empathy I hope to bring into dentistry.
Through mentoring in Minds of Tomorrow, a STEAM program for kids, I had the opportunity to guide young students in hands-on projects focused on science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. My goal was not only to teach them the concepts but also to foster creativity, curiosity, and teamwork. Mentoring these students has reinforced my commitment to helping others realize their potential, which I hope to carry forward by providing accessible dental care to communities in need. Similarly, my internship with the Foundation for New Education Initiatives (FNEI) has deepened my understanding of nonprofit work and the impact it has on people’s lives. Attending FNEI board meetings, assisting with donor outreach, and supporting event planning gave me a first-hand look at how much of a difference community support can make. By helping underserved students access resources they need to thrive, I became more inspired to contribute to my community through my future profession.
I chose to pursue dentistry because it combines my interest in healthcare with my desire to make a direct impact. Oral health plays a crucial role in a person’s overall well-being, and as a dentist, I can help people feel confident, prevent health issues, and ensure their smiles stay healthy. This career aligns perfectly with my values of empathy, accessibility, and lifelong learning, as it allows me to serve people from all backgrounds while continually advancing my skills.
I know that following a pre-dental path will present challenges, including a rigorous course load and the competitiveness of dental programs. Balancing challenging classes with extracurriculars and possibly working part-time could be difficult, especially in the first few years of adjusting to college. However, I believe my experience balancing various roles and my dedication to my academic goals have prepared me for this. I’ve developed strong study habits and time management skills, which will be essential to balancing my coursework and hands-on experiences. Additionally, I plan to seek mentorship and support from professors, advisors, and peers. I understand the value of a supportive network, and I hope to foster connections that will help me grow both personally and professionally.
My experiences have also instilled in me a passion for cultural understanding and diversity. My commitment to learning French and engaging in the global community has given me a broader perspective that I believe will benefit my approach to patient care. As a dentist, I hope to create an inclusive practice where patients feel comfortable and understood, regardless of their background. My goal is to provide compassionate care that addresses not only physical health but also emotional and cultural needs.
In summary, I am deeply committed to my path in dentistry, not only for personal success but to make a genuine impact. My experiences have shaped me into a person who values compassion, hard work, and empathy. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities college will bring as I continue to pursue this goal.
Billie Eilish Fan Scholarship
I was enthralled when I first heard a song by the singer Billie Eilish. I was drawn to her music because of the emotional depth and rawness she brings to her songs from the melody and the beat, to the lyrics itself. These are some of my top three Billie Eilish songs, along with the reasons I find them so moving:
"when the party's over" is a song I genuinely love being that it's eerie-like music and lyrics that move me perfectly convey the experience of letting go of someone or something, even when it hurts. It's about knowing when, even with the pain, to turn away from it. When Billie sings, "I'll call you when the party's over," her voice is filled with real emotion that reminds me of times in my own life when I had to make tough choices in order to protect my own health. I feel like the song is helping me process those feelings, almost like a therapeutic release.
"my future" is another song that I like from Billie since this song is about optimism and hope for the future, which is something I personally try to cling to. Inspiring is Billie's transition in the song from reflection to empowerment. It serves as a reminder that it's acceptable for me to put my own development first and to look forward to the future. I aspire to the idea of falling in love with my own future, and this song does a beautiful job of capturing that feeling.
Lastly, "everything i ever wanted" is a song that has touched me ever since the day I layed my ears to it. I relate to this song because it deals with vulnerability, insecurity, and the weight of expectations. I find the way Billie expresses her battles with mental health and the pressures of her fame very genuine and demure. In song's lyrics, she writes,"If I could change the way that you see yourself, you wouldn't wonder why you hear 'they don't deserve you,'" which is a reminder of the importance of having people who can always support you beside you as the significance of accepting who you are. It expresses the essence of feeling overwhelmed but still finding strength in connection, which is why it strikes a deep chord.
Theresa Lord Future Leader Scholarship
My name is Chloe Farreau, and I want to start giving back to my community as soon as I graduate from dental school. That’s why my goals have been centered around prioritizing my education. I've always been drawn to the idea of helping others, and becoming a dentist will allow me to have a positive influence on people's lives. In my opinion, dentistry can genuinely improve people's lives, whether it is by teaching them the value of maintaining good oral health or by giving them a more confident smile that they could show off wherever they go.
As I have stated before, my goal is to graduate as quickly as possible. I have come to the understanding that years of intensive study and practice are necessary to become a dentist, however I'm willing to put in the time and effort. Whenever the workload that I have seems to be overwhelming to manage, I always happen to find sources of motivation to keep going with the idea of being able to offer high-quality dental care, hopefully to individuals living in underprivileged areas.
Unfortunately, whenever someone has a goal it is never a smooth path and always consists of bumps along the way. Having to deal with the opinions of those who disagree with my career decision has been a major challenge for me. Some people have teased me or asked why I would want to devote so much time to studying dentistry. This negativity was difficult to deal with at first. I started to doubt my decision and question if I was making the right one.
However, I've come to realize that these comments reveal more about the people who express them than they do about me and my objectives. I came to the realization that not everyone would share my goals or be supportive of them, and that's good. It matters that I have faith in my own abilities otherwise who will.
I now feel stronger and determined because of this. I've learned to tune out negativity and surround myself with uplifting and inspirational people. Additionally, I feel more comfortable expressing my love for dentistry and why it's important to me.
In the end, I think that finally overcoming this challenge has made my determination to go after my dream of being a dentist stronger. I'm excited about the future and the potential impact I can have on my community.

The island is encircled by luxuriant tropical flora and waving palm palms, creating the ideal setting for the ultimate Barbie paradise. The Dream House's exterior is a wonderful example of contemporary architecture with a whimsical touch. You'd expect my luxurious mansion to probably match the normal pink Barbie template, however, you're wrong. The mansion has multiple stories and a modern pastel mint green and beige color scheme with shimmering gold accents. Large, sparkling windows that provide spectacular views of the ocean and the surroundings are a feature of the home.
Some amazing inside elements of my Barbie Dream Home include the grand entrance, the magic walk-in closet, the gourmet kitchen, and the special room. The grand entrance consists of a large, opulent lobby with a brilliant chandelier and a grand staircase leading to the higher stories welcomes you as you enter the double doors.
The magic walk-in closet is loaded with high-end clothing, accessories, and shoes that are all carefully arranged and suitable for any occasion. Now this closet isn't like any other walk-in closet, it's a room bathed in soft, iridescent lighting that seems to emanate from the very walls themselves. The closet is larger on the inside than it appears on the outside, creating an almost otherworldly sense of space. The walls are adorned with full-length mirrors framed in ornate, antique-style gold and silver. The floor is covered in plush, velvety carpeting that feels like walking on clouds.
