My mom, she is the greatest thing that has happened to me. She is God fearing, loving, caring, discipline, beautiful and a cheerful giver. I call her my super woman, I can remember when I was little we didn't have nothing, my mum is ready to go hungry just so we can eat and when my friends came over we didn't have much but she still made provisions for everyone. My mum always works hard, overtime just to see her children comfortable. Even when she fell ill due to stress the little money she had was to buy drugs but instead she used it to pay my siblings tuitions. My mum is very courageous, she is my motivational speaker even when it seems all hope is lost she will surely encourage me to stand firm and upright. I always seek advice from her before I do anything, she taught me all that I know today and am proud to say that 60% of the knowledge I have is from my mom. When we got thrown out from our house and had to live with a friend, my mum worked non-stop day and night to make sure we got a roof over our head. One time when my younger sister broke her arm, It was a very sad day she didn't have money for the treatment but some how borrowed the money and when I asked how we were going to pay back she said 'GOD WILL PROVIDE' and there I was shocked at her response because she had so much faith and confidence. My mum is very important to me and I can't do without her, she's one in a million, my back bone, Her spec is hard to find, her birthday is coming soon; this November and I have planned a lot for her. Words can't express how much I love my mum because she is the woman behind my existence. I will forever be grateful and thankful to her because she is the best in the world.

THE HARDSHIPS I FACED IN MY LIFE, HOW I OVERCAME IT AND HOW THESE CHALLENGES I HAVE FACED PLAYED INTO MY GOALS FOR THE FUTURE. There are times in life when people face challenges, encounter obstacles, hardships and failures but there is always something to learn from it now or later. I can remember when I newly entered high school, every thing was going smooth and fine for me academically and for my family financially until I reached ninth grade, that was when the road got rough and tough. My parents company suffered a financial loss and went bankrupt. This financial loss affected everyone in my family, we had to cut all our expenses and reduce our budgets. I started facing challenges, embarrassment, I was being sent out of school due to lack of payment of fees. I can recall a time when I was about to write an important examination, l was called out of the examination hall which contained more than twenty five students because I was a fee defaulter. It was such an embarrassing and sad moment because of the way and manner I was approached, I felt my world is crumbling and I felt weak and emotionally down. This was one of the toughest moments in my life. This really affected me seriously, I was always away from school every now and then, missing a lots of classes and because of this I had to repeat the exam that I missed. But I did not allow my grades to drop, I kept reading and studying to make sure I passed exceedingly. It continued for weeks but somehow my parents raised money for my examination and I wrote the basic education certificate examination(B.E.C.E) and surprisingly, I passed successfully. It did not just end there the challenges continued to the tenth and eleventh grade. At the time of the twelfth grade I had to write an external examination which will lead me into the university. I kept praying and committed all my activities and endeavours into God's hand. Then a miracle happened my parents company recovered from their financial loss, they got back their shares and clients. It was indeed a miracle I was happy when I heard the news. Now my dad could pay my fees I do not need to be insulted or called out from school. It was time for me to take my high school final examination and after I was done the result came out and I did so well that I couldn't believe I went through hard times. My parents were so pleased because I made them so happy and proud. These challenges have played into my goals for the future because it has made me to become a more responsible, hardworking and self motivated student. It has also made me very enthusiastic and I think this is a strong point of mine. It has helped me to demonstrate a strong work ethic and it has boost my confidence for success. In conclusion, all these challenges and hardships that I faced did not only make me sad, it also made me strong, to be determined, a goal getter, to be focused and lt also made me to never give up no matter what I go through or what the circumstance might be or even what life itself throws at me and most importantly to never lose hope because when there is a will there is a way.
