My relationship with Jesus has played a central role in shaping my faith, giving me guidance, stability, and purpose even when circumstances around me were uncertain. I have been part of my church for more than ten years, and during that time, I have seen the community change and evolve in ways that were sometimes challenging. Whenever the congregation grew, the church would often split, and in middle school, my youth team left. At first, these changes made me feel uncertain and even discouraged. I wasn’t sure how to continue growing in my faith when the familiar support system I relied on seemed to disappear. Over time, however, I realized that God had a plan for me to remain in this church. By staying, I was given the opportunity to meet new people, form new friendships, and build relationships with members I might not have otherwise known, including my pastors’ children and my youth pastor’s children. These experiences taught me that God’s plan often unfolds in unexpected ways and that trusting Him can lead to growth and blessings even in times of change. Through my relationship with Jesus, I have learned to view challenges as opportunities for personal development. The changes that occurred in my church community enabled me to develop two essential skills which are resilience and patience, while teaching me to establish positive relationships that enhance my religious beliefs. The most important part of my church journey has been my experience with meeting new people and building connections throughout the community. My relationships with others have helped me develop spiritually while they taught me how to communicate effectively and support people and lead through my actions. I have come to understand that faith is not just about personal devotion but also about being part of a community that encourages one another and fosters growth in Christ. I will use church teachings as my main guide throughout my educational journey because I want to implement my faith. I want to study with integrity and dedication and humility because I believe God has given me talents and opportunities to create positive change. My goal is to extend my faith beyond my academic work by helping classmates through my support and encouragement while displaying kindness and empathy and understanding their needs. I want to establish a positive environment through my teamwork and leadership and my encouragement of others which will demonstrate the values I learned from my relationship with Jesus. My faith leads me to trust God's plan while I build strong relationships which help me grow and face all life challenges. My church membership has grown stronger through testing times because I believe that God provides constant guidance during all situations. The faith I carry into my educational path will enable me to honor God through my work and relationships and my community service because I will use my learned lessons to create positive changes in myself and others.

My desire to work as a Formula 1 engineer stems from my passion for automobiles, technological innovation, and problem-solving. Formula 1 engineers develop new technologies and test their designs through continuous improvement, measuring speed, energy efficiency, and overall system performance. I am especially excited about the chance to develop electric and hybrid F1 racing vehicles, because this is where engineering and environmental responsibility intersect. Motorsport engineers have the potential to create meaningful environmental solutions, especially considering the urgent challenges of climate change and global warming. Developing cleaner, more efficient engines for high-performance vehicles can improve Formula 1 while also producing technologies that reduce emissions when applied to everyday cars. The sport has already begun experimenting with hybrid systems, as standard F1 cars rely on highly efficient internal combustion engines. Engineers are creating technologies to recover energy, enhance battery performance, and improve speed while reducing fuel use. As a Formula 1 engineer, I could help design innovative electric and hybrid systems that minimize environmental impact while maintaining performance. My passion for racing and desire to protect the environment would come together in a meaningful way through this work. Formula 1 engineering also teaches essential skills that transfer to other fields. On a team, decisions affect every aspect of the car, including aerodynamics, electronics, and engine performance. Working in this environment develops problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking, as engineers must find solutions under intense pressure. Learning to solve complex technical problems at the highest level of racing will prepare me to tackle engineering challenges in sustainability and energy efficiency beyond motorsport. Beyond technical skills, Formula 1 offers a platform to inspire public awareness. Millions of viewers watch races worldwide, demonstrating that high performance and environmental responsibility can coexist. Developing electric and hybrid technologies in F1 could encourage other industries to adopt sustainable solutions, multiplying environmental benefits beyond the racetrack. Ultimately, pursuing a career as a Formula 1 engineer will allow me to combine my core strengths—passion for racing, engineering expertise, and concern for the environment—into a career with meaningful impact. I want to be part of a team that pushes the boundaries of engineering while addressing global environmental challenges. Through innovation in electric and hybrid technology, I hope to improve vehicle speed and efficiency, influence other industries, and contribute to a healthier planet. My main challenge has been my difficulties with English language skills. I have lived in the United States my entire life yetI face challenges with English reading and writing and comprehension at the level my classmates expect. I was in ESOL classes for a long time, and even now, I still sometimes feel behind. I become frustrated with my progress because I want to achieve success, yet my efforts to learn new things lead to slower development. The challenges I face with English language skills have created multiple problems for me. The process of learning creates me extreme anxiety when I think about my educational path and future college and career choices. My language difficulties create an ongoing fear for me because I believe they will obstruct my progress as a person. The experience has taught me valuable lessons about life. I have developed two qualities which are essential for success because I understand that progress requires time. I have learned to request assistance whenever I require help while I also acknowledge and appreciate my progress in understanding complex readings and writing effective essays. I found my true self through failures because they showed me my potential to develop. The challenge has taught me two qualities which I need to recover from obstacles, and it drives my continuous daily development.

I have been playing golf since I was a kid, but at first I never really loved it. In fact, I honestly hated it. Growing up, I was used to playing team sports where you are constantly moving, running, and working together with others. Compared to that, golf felt slow and very different from what I was used to. Because of that, it never felt like a sport I truly enjoyed. For a long time, it felt more like something I had to do rather than something I wanted to do. One of the main reasons I continued playing golf was because my mom encouraged me to stick with it. She had already invested a lot of time and money into helping me learn the sport, and she believed that it could become an important opportunity for my future. At the time, it felt more like pressure than motivation, but looking back, I’m grateful she pushed me to keep going even when I didn’t enjoy it. Things started to change when I joined the golf team during my sophomore year of high school. That was when golf began to feel different to me. Instead of just practicing alone, I was now part of a team and competing in matches. As I spent more time on the course, I started to understand the game better and improve my skills. Golf requires a lot of patience, focus, and mental strength, and the more I played, the more I began to appreciate those challenges. Over time, I gradually became more comfortable with the courses and the competitive side of the sport. I noticed that my scores were improving, and that progress motivated me to keep working harder. Being on the varsity golf team for three years has been one of my biggest accomplishments. It showed me that even if something doesn’t come naturally at first, dedication and persistence can make a huge difference. Golf has also shaped my character in many ways. It has taught me patience because improvement takes time and practice. It has also taught me discipline and self-control, since golf is a sport where you have to stay calm and focused even after making mistakes. Unlike many other sports, golf is very mental, and learning how to stay positive and move on from a bad shot is an important skill. Another meaningful part of golf has been the relationships and experiences that come with it. Spending hours on the course with teammates and competing in tournaments has created memories that I will always remember. Even though I once disliked the sport, it eventually became something that challenged me to grow both as an athlete and as a person. Looking back, my journey with golf has been unexpected. What started as something I didn’t enjoy slowly became something meaningful in my life. Golf has taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, patience, and personal growth. Because of that, it has become much more than just a sport to me.
