I'm looking forward to becoming a nurse practitioner specializing in both primary care (FNP) and psychiatry (PMHNP) at MCPHS, then completing a doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) at Salve Regina. I've been practicing as a nurse since 2015 with a background in home health, and now work in a hospital setting caring for patients with co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. My plan is to continue to gain experience, to treat the community, and to bring forward holistic solutions to everyday issues. With further practice, I plan to make international efforts into areas like East Africa to promote and popularize the same holistic concepts alongside the modern medicinal approach in the community by teaching and empowering regional experts and influencers.
