By committing to this field, I am helping fill this workforce gap and supporting the safe integration of modern vehicle technology into everyday transportation. In addition to technical skills, I aim to use my education to help educate others. Many vehicle owners are unaware of basic maintenance needs or warning signs of mechanical failure. By sharing knowledge about routine inspections, maintenance schedules, and safety concerns, I can help people make informed decisions about their vehicles and avoid costly or dangerous situations. Even small actions, such as encouraging timely brake repairs or proper tire maintenance, can prevent accidents and save lives. Ultimately, my goal is to use my automotive education to make a positive impact on my community. By keeping vehicles safe, reliable, and properly maintained, I am helping individuals maintain independence, employment, and stability. I am writing to apply for the Autel scholarship, which would make a significant impact on my journey toward becoming a fully ASE-Certified automotive technician. As a single mother raising three children, returning to school was not an easy decision - but it was the right one. I am deeply committed to building a better future for my family, and pursuing a career in automotive repair allows me to do just that. I’ve always had a passion for learning how things work, and now I’m finally turning that passion into a profession.
