Hi, I’m Celia, a dedicated student with a deep love for both science and the arts. I am a senior at Appomattox Regional Governor’s School, and I will be attending Sweet Briar College (Class of 2029). I currently have a 99.2 GPA on a 100-point scale and am always looking for ways to grow both in and out of the classroom. I’m passionate about debate, growing my school’s team by 300% and receiving 1st and 2nd place awards for public forum debate, and I volunteer as an SAT tutor and mentor to support other students. Art is another major part of my life; I’ve won several awards and even had my work exhibited at a national ceramics conference. I plan to study biology in college because I believe it’s the foundation for understanding life and helping others, whether through research or medicine. Outside academics, I stay involved in my community by organizing events through my church, working with animals through horseback riding, and finding creative outlets wherever I can. I’m excited about what the future holds and am committed to using my education to make a meaningful impact.
