Hi! My name is Christina Nguyen (she/her/hers), and I am a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Psychology and a B.A. in Public Health. The daughter of war refugees, I am committed to empowering underserved kids and families through inclusive teaching and grassroots advocacy. Driven by a long-standing desire to address systemic inequities through a socioecological approach, my research interests primarily focus on minority mental health, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), school psychology, developmental psychopathology, social determinants of health (SDoH), and community violence interventions (CVIs). As an aspiring researcher-practitioner and policy advocate, I aim to pursue a doctorate in psychology and dedicate my career to building mental health resiliency in refugee, immigrant, BIPOC, and AANHPI communities.
