WinnerAs a college graduate it is important to empower people to pursue their dreams and encourage them in their journey to do just that. I plan to inspire and help others to pursue their own college education by resonating with my peers and community members whether that be in work, learning, or other social environments. Inspiration comes from not just what one says but equally from the actions one takes to show support and care for their future. Having a college education is not just for the status boost but it is more important for the leadership qualities you gain while going through the journey of college. Everybody’s road through college is very different as well as experiences but one universal truth is the lessons and personal qualities that are learned.
Learning respect, communication, adaptability, accountability, and punctuality is just as important in getting your degree because having these qualities helps you become a great leader. Using the qualities I have learned throughout college are ample resources to leverage those qualities in encouraging, inspiring, and empowering community members to reach for similar goals. Being able to attend college is truly a blessing and I have so much gratitude for everyone that has inspired and helped me get to where I am in life and I want to pay that forward to help others be successful and achieve their dreams.
I have a bright, vibrant, and ever growing community full of youth and life and it would personally be inspirational if I could even have just a small impact on the community that helped grow the person I am today. With that being said it is my goal to take everything I learn throughout college and put it towards helping my community by filling roles that have my communities best interest in mind. I really want to use everything that I learn and apply it to helping North Dakota strive. A personal goal of mine is to work within our government and help keep my community strong from the inside in that way. I want to use the platform that I have to advocate in the interest of my community and keep not only my town but also my state safe and constantly evolving and growing.
I would really like to work within the senate or a role similar to that in representing North Dakota on a larger scale. I want to advocate for North Dakota and keep our job markets wide and keep it livable.
