Bio

I am aspiring to research ADHD at the doctorate level and currently, I am starting an ADHD student organization on my campus to emphasize coping strategies for chronic stress in addition to self-esteem issues. I have also helped my school in launching a Financial Literacy program with Inceptia’s Financial Avenue courses. I am gaining marketing, branding, and training experience in this project. I also trained 72 Housing Residential Assistants in using this program. I am also served on the Textbook Affordability Taskforce by providing a unique student perspective on textbook costs and collaborating with professors and other department faculty. Finally, I have been doing student research since Spring 2021 semester in which I studied personality traits in ADHD students followed by an independent research project I proposed on Emerging Adults and ADHD in college students in which I presented as a research poster virtually for APSU's psychology, criminal justice, and sociology departments. I discussed the overlapping relationship between emerging adults with and without ADHD due to executive function demands elicited by college-life demands.
