I am an Eagle Scout out of Michigan and have worked at a scout camp the past couple summers. This has really sparked a love for ecology and nature in general. I would love to be able to go to school so I can have a career out of being in nature and doing what I love.

Do you want the environment to be clean for future generations? Well you should, and to make that a possibility we need to start doing something about it today. We need to start supporting the environment by having mandatory recycling.
What if we were not to have everyone start recycling? We have already seen some examples of this in our world today. As of 2023, The United States of America accounts for over 3,000 active landfills that take up approximately 1,800,000 acres of land. If people were to continue on this path and continue to add to these landfills, it would not be good for the environment or humanity.
We need everyone to join in recycling too. This is not an instance where one person can help fix the problem. This is something where everybody needs to do their part. People need to take accountability for their recyclable items. Whether it is cans being returned so they can be reused, or batteries that can be recharged instead of sitting in the environment harming it. People need to do their part.
As well as people like your neighbors it is also talking about other countries. Not one country can do everything to help clean up the world. All countries need to work on helping clean up the environment to make the world cleaner.
In conclusion, We need to work together to clean up the world. It isn't on one person and we should want to help the environment.
