I read books daily.
As a note for all those interested in funding my pursuits, I was accepted to the M.A. in Climate & Society at the Columbia Climate School at Columbia University in the city of NYC. I have deferred this program for a year as I figure out a financial plan and migrate my care for my chronic health condition from the Bay Area to NYC. For application purposes, I want to note that I am part of the LGBTQ+ community. Professionally, I am driven by three ambitious goals that I aim to pursue at the Columbia Climate School. In partnership with medical professionals, I aspire to reimagine how we develop, implement, and scale new building materials that are easier on the planet and the people who inhabit them. I am committed to collaborating with marginalized communities to be a part of our future-oriented solutions and to prioritize their experience, advice, and expertise in making design decisions around our built environment. Finally, I am eager to work with government agencies and public policy professionals to ensure this transition is communicated clearly and incentivized.
