Bio

I'm Carolynn, a 17-year-old from Virginia. I'm a strong advocate for individuals with disabilities. My best friend is my sister with Down syndrome, and I spend much of my time locally volunteering. I plan on majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders to become a speech pathologist and help those who struggle with communication learn to advocate for themselves. Some of my other passions include playing piano, writing, painting, reading, and participating in my high school marching band. I'm also a type 1 diabetic, and I'm looking forward to a future where I can achieve my goals despite my disability.
