I am a dedicated student-athlete with a strong passion for leadership, service, and making a meaningful impact on others. I have played lacrosse for over eight years and will continue my athletic career at Catawba College, where I am excited to contribute to a winning culture on the women’s lacrosse team while pursuing a rigorous academic path. Being a leader on and off the field has shaped who I am; whether that means supporting my teammates, staying positive, or helping others succeed. Academically, I am interested in education and pre-law, as both fields allow me to directly serve and advocate for people. Growing up with parents who are educators inspired my love for teaching and working with children, while my interest in law comes from a desire to defend others and be a voice for those who may not be heard. No matter the path I ultimately choose, my goal is to pursue a career centered on helping others and creating positive change. I believe I am a strong scholarship candidate because I balance academic commitment, athletic excellence, and community involvement with integrity and resilience. I have learned the value of hard work, empathy, and leadership through years of athletics, service organizations like Key Club, and mentoring others. With the support of scholarships, I will be able to fully dedicate myself to my education, athletics, and service, and continue striving to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
