I’m a dedicated student with a deep passion for psychology and a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others through science and mental health care. As an adult learner, I returned to college with a clear sense of purpose and recently earned three associate degrees in Psychology, Social & Behavioral Science, and Math & Science—all with a 4.0 GPA. I’m now preparing to transfer to California State University, Bakersfield to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Psychology, with long-term goals of earning a doctorate in neuropsychology. My journey has been shaped by resilience, personal growth, and a desire to give back. I’m especially passionate about understanding the intersection of brain science and behavior and using that knowledge to help people heal and thrive. Moving to a new city to continue my education has its challenges, but I remain focused and driven. What makes me a strong candidate is not just my academic record but my lived experience, determination, and unwavering commitment to serving others.
