    Sara Molina Memorial Scholarship
Since I was a child, I have always dreamed of studying pharmacy and helping people improve their health, but growing up in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, taught me that dreams require effort and perseverance. I watched my family face many challenges, and I learned early on that every small step counts toward building a better future. Even though I did not always have all the opportunities, I never let that stop me; every challenge became motivation to keep moving forward and to fight for my goals. One of the greatest challenges I faced was learning to balance my school responsibilities with helping my family. Although I never had to leave school like Sara Molina did in her story, I understood very early that education is not just a privilege—it is a powerful tool to change lives. Working on various school projects and researching the human body and health made me realize that I wanted to dedicate my life to pharmacy, a field where I can combine my passion for science with my desire to help others. My motivation to study pharmacy grows stronger every day. I dream of providing effective healthcare solutions to my community and helping others access medications and professional guidance, especially in Puerto Rico, where many families face economic and educational barriers to healthcare. Every lesson, experience, and research project brings me one step closer to this goal. Knowing that I can positively impact others’ lives through education and medicine inspires me to give my best, even when obstacles seem daunting. Receiving the Sara Molina Memorial Scholarship would mean so much to me. This scholarship would not only ease the financial burden of my studies but also remind me that perseverance and passion are rewarded. With this support, I could fully focus on my courses, participate in internships and projects that bring me closer to my goal, and eventually become a pharmacist who inspires and supports future generations. The scholarship would be a tangible reminder that dreams are achievable with dedication and determination and would allow me to focus on building a meaningful future for myself and those who depend on my work. In honor of women like Sara Molina, who overcame enormous challenges to create a better path for their families, I want to continue that legacy through my education and professional future. This scholarship would not only support me financially but also give me the encouragement to remain passionate, bold, and committed to my community. I am ready to seize this opportunity and show that with effort and dedication, dreams can truly become reality.
