Financial constraints have been among the major vices that I have passed through in my quest for higher education. Like many other students, the tuition, textbooks, and even living became quite burdensome. There have been those moments when I had to take up more than one part-time job to just make ends meet; often I would feel so worn out and drained out in most such cases. Despite these, I knew I had to continue with my education, as in the end, it would all be worth it. Since I was in financial trouble, I tried to manage my financial struggle by applying for scholarships, grants, and other kinds of financial aid. I also sought resources from the campus: the Financial Aid Office and academic advisors, who showed me how to manage my finances and search for additional money. With the continuing effort to be resourceful, I was able to get through this set of challenges and stay on course with my studies. It is something that I want to give back to, and I will do more education so that I can give back to my community about some of the issues I had to face. Some of those programs would be financial literacy education to support students coming from underrepresented communities. I would want to empower them with the ability to manage their finances, apply for scholarships, and seek financial aid, enabling them to pursue a higher education without the many headaches of financial stress I experienced. Moreover, I would like to advocate for affordable education and support such policy changes that will allow each citizen to get higher education without any type of discrimination based on their financial position. With the help of my education and acquired experience, I try to create a more equal and empathetic atmosphere for future generations.

Imagine a world where every person, regardless of background, has the ability to be successful and thrive in the business world. My vision is one of economic empowerment through business innovation, opening up opportunities for underrepresented communities. By first providing educational resources, tools, and mentorship, these individuals will have a way to build the capacity for entrepreneurship. These new businesses can bring about new jobs and a better community all around. Targeted education is perhaps one of the most potent ways through which underrepresented groups can be empowered. Training in entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and business management will eventually equip the people to create and expand their ventures. Access to education empowers not only the individual but also fosters a culture of innovation and resilience in the community. Besides education, access to resources is a very instrumental way of offering economic empowerment. This can be done by availing funding opportunities through grants and low-interest loans to budding entrepreneurs with no access to traditional banking services. We can ensure that we have financial access so that underrepresented communities, through our partnerships with financial institutions and government agencies, are able to realize their business ideas. Another important pillar of my vision is mentorship. Seasoned business leaders have much to share in terms of advice and guidance that will help a new entrepreneur chart his way through the evolution and growth process of any business. The establishment of mentorship programs, where successful business owners are matched with aspiring entrepreneurs from underrepresented communities, creates a network for support that fosters growth and success. My goal in owning a real estate company aligns with driving social equity and justice, through a focus on affordable housing and community development. I want to create accessible housing solutions for people of all socioeconomic statuses. Through investment in under-resourced communities and collaboration with the local leaders, the renovation of neighborhoods, stimulation of job creation, and provision of decent, affordable housing options are some of the virtues I seek to achieve. Housing affordability is a cornerstone of economic stability, and by addressing this critical need, we have the potential to help lift individuals and families out of poverty and toward more equitable communities. I strongly believe that through such efforts we can produce lasting change, uplifting the underrepresented and offering opportunities for all to be successful contributors in an equitable society. It is in education, resources, mentorship, and affordable housing that we will build a foundation for economic empowerment toward sustainable growth and innovation. Such a holistic approach serves not only to empower individuals but also to strengthen entire communities, opening up pathways into a brighter and more inclusive future.
