Bio

As a senior in high school, I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the Fall of 2025 for bioengineering. I am strongly passionate in pursuing a field of engineering with the intention of using engineering to develop medicine and medicine delivery mechanisms. In school, I dedicate a lot of my time towards STEM-themed activities, being treasurer of Manheim Township Tech and Engineering Club, a two-time state finalist for Technology Student Association, the team lead for my rocketry team, and co-founder and lead programmer for Investment Competition Club. I enjoy being involved in youth STEM outreach programs, especially as being science camp counselor and running experiments for kids at the Lancaster Science Factory, as well as running the annual STEM-fest event for hundreds of kids in my school district to come and participate in science activities set up by local business, universities, and teachers. In addition to my school work, I am part of quiz bowl (two-time national player), Model UN, secretary of our National Honors Society, a member of Penn State’s pre-health program for underrepresented leaders in STEM education, and an avid photographer/photo editor. From the age of 5 until my junior year, I also played baseball for both the school team and a travel team. While not playing, I volunteer to assistant coach my younger brother's baseball teams and umpire 10 year old games.
