I’m Cameron Franklin, a third-year marketing student at Howard University from Miami, Florida. My journey bridges creativity and community, whether I’m on stage performing, in front of the camera, or leading initiatives that bring people together. As Mister Howard Plaza Towers, I’ve had the privilege to represent my peers while championing a platform centered on community, connection, and creativity. I bring that same passion into every role I take on — from my work with the Howard Gospel Choir to my involvement in the Howard University Film Organization and past musical theatre productions. I'm deeply inspired by the power of storytelling to heal, uplift, and unite, a passion born from my sister’s battle with cancer and the films that gave us strength. That experience continues to drive my interest in acting, fashion, music, and media, and fuels my dream to work in the film and television industry, on screen and behind the scenes. I'm currently building my skills across social media strategy, branding, music production, and performance. I believe in breaking stereotypes and creating spaces where people feel empowered to be their full selves. I'm always looking to grow, serve, and tell stories that matter.
