I am an African-American and Hispanic woman who is the first in my family to attend college. I have completed an A.S. in Pre-Nursing and I am currently in a nursing program. My short-term plans are to complete my program and complete an RN to BSN program right after. I like math and truly enjoy learning about the human body and how to care for people. I also enjoy law and I am considering getting my paralegal license after nursing school. I'm passionate about relating to people who look like me and helping to bridge that gap of mistrust in healthcare.
