I will make this essay short and sweet. I have always had a love for hair, makeup, and everything that cosmetology provides. I also have a huge love for being people's hype man. I love seeing girls help other girls, especially whenever they're lacking their self love. I do feel like I would absolutely love to do the hair, but I am so much more excited to make the impact that stylists do. I see this field as a way to help women with their confidence and happiness. Ever since I started getting my hair done, my stylist has been a therapist, a friend, and ultimately someone who made me feel good about myself. Saying that, I want to be that person for somebody else. My stylists has hugged me through a breakup, and even when I found out my dad would have to have brain surgery for the second time. Ultimately, I see cosmetology as a job, but also a safe place for people to feel open and confident in themselves and others. I will end this essay saying that I am so excited to be able to pursue not only this career, but the pursuit in the career. I hope I can fulfill myself in knowing I could make an impact for someone, while also doing what I love.
