Women in Healthcare Scholarship
I chose to pursue a degree in healthcare because I have always wanted a career where I could make a real difference in people’s lives. Growing up, I was fascinated by the medical field and the way healthcare professionals are able to help people during some of their most difficult moments. Over time, I became especially interested in radiologic technology because it combines patient care, science, and advanced technology. Learning how X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging procedures help doctors diagnose injuries and illnesses showed me how important radiologic technologists are in the healthcare system. I realized that I wanted to be part of that process and contribute to helping patients receive the answers and treatment they need.
Another reason I chose healthcare is because I enjoy working with people and being in an environment where every day is different. I want a career that challenges me while also allowing me to connect with others on a personal level. Healthcare requires compassion, communication, responsibility, and teamwork, which are all qualities I value and continue working to improve. I know that even small interactions can have a huge impact on patients. Someone coming in for an imaging exam may be nervous, scared, or in pain, and I want to be the person who helps them feel more comfortable and cared for during that experience.
Pursuing a degree in healthcare is also important to me because it provides stability and opportunities for growth while allowing me to help others. I am passionate about building a future where I can continue learning and developing my skills while making a positive contribution to my community. Becoming a radiologic technologist will allow me to work closely with patients and healthcare teams while playing an important role in diagnosis and treatment.
As a woman in the healthcare field, I hope to make a positive impact by showing compassion, confidence, and leadership every day. Women have always played an essential role in healthcare, and I want to continue that legacy by being someone patients and coworkers can trust and rely on. I want to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel respected and understood regardless of their background or situation. I believe empathy is one of the most important qualities in healthcare, and I want my patients to feel seen as people, not just as another appointment or procedure.
I also hope to inspire other young women to pursue careers in healthcare and believe in their abilities. Many healthcare careers require dedication, resilience, and confidence, and I want to show that women are capable of succeeding in demanding medical environments. Through hard work, professionalism, and compassion, I hope to become a role model for others while continuing to grow into the best healthcare professional I can be. My ultimate goal is to positively impact patients’ lives every day while building a meaningful and rewarding career in healthcare.
Love Island Fan Scholarship
One brand new Love Island challenge idea I would create is called “Brewed With Love.” Since coffee brings people together, this challenge mixes flirting, teamwork, speed, chemistry, and a little bit of chaos. The villa would be transformed into a colorful late-night coffee stand inspired by a drive thru café, complete with neon signs, music, fake menus, aprons, blenders, espresso machines, and a giant glowing leaderboard called the “Love Meter.”
Each couple would work a shift together and compete to become the villa’s ultimate “power couple baristas.” Islanders would rotate through stations like taking orders, making drinks, upselling menu items, and serving customers. The “customers” would actually be bombshells, dumped Islanders returning temporarily, and even the other Islanders trying to distract them on purpose.
The challenge would happen in three rounds.
The first round is called “Rush Hour.” One partner takes complicated drink orders while the other has to memorize and make them correctly under pressure. Orders would have ridiculous names and ingredients to create confusion and funny moments. If a couple messes up an order, they lose points on the Love Meter. If they work smoothly together, they gain points. The point is to test communication and patience while chaos is happening around them.
The second round is called “Secret Menu.” Islanders are secretly given flirty dares hidden underneath drink cups. Some examples could be:
* Make another Islander blush in under 30 seconds
* Convince someone to “buy” your drink with a pickup line
* Recreate your partner’s order while blindfolded
* Let another Islander feed you whipped cream
* Guess your partner’s “signature drink” based on their personality
This round would create tension because some dares force Islanders to interact closely with people outside their couples.
The final round is called “Spill the Tea.” Each couple sits in giant coffee mugs while the host asks juicy relationship questions. If they refuse to answer honestly, another couple gets to dump an iced coffee bucket on them. Questions would expose hidden crushes, jealousy, villa gossip, and relationship doubts.
At the end, the couple with the highest Love Meter score wins a private rooftop coffee date complete with desserts, music, and immunity at the next recoupling. The losing couple has to work the villa’s “morning shift” the next day by making coffees and breakfast for everyone.
What makes “Brewed With Love” special is that it combines the energy of a fast paced coffee stand with the drama and romance of Love Island. It shows which couples can handle pressure together, communicate during stressful moments, and stay loyal when temptation is right in front of them.

Sabrina Carpenter has shaped my life in a way that goes far beyond music. Through her confidence, honesty, and creativity, she has shown me the importance of being unapologetically yourself. Watching her grow from a young actress into a successful artist has inspired me to believe that growth takes time and that hard work eventually pays off.
Her music has helped me through different emotions and stages of my life. Some songs are fun and carefree and remind me to enjoy life, while others are emotional and relatable, making me feel understood during stressful or overwhelming times. Attending trade school to pursue my ARRT license has been one of the most important steps toward building my future. I chose radiologic technology because I have always been interested in healthcare and the role imaging plays in diagnosing and treating patients. I want a career where I can help people while also creating stability for myself and my family. Although I am passionate about this path, the financial challenges that come with attending school have been difficult to manage.
Trade school requires a major commitment of time and energy. Between classes, labs, studying, and clinical requirements, it is hard to maintain enough work hours to fully support myself financially. While I work when I can, balancing employment with school is challenging because my education has to remain my priority. The cost of tuition alone is stressful, but there are also many additional expenses including textbooks, uniforms, exam fees, transportation, and other supplies required for the program. These costs add up quickly and create a financial strain that is difficult to handle alone.
Along with school expenses, I also have normal living expenses such as gas, groceries, insurance, and other necessities. Trying to keep up with these responsibilities while pursuing my education can feel overwhelming at times. Financial assistance would make a huge difference in my ability to continue focusing on school and successfully complete my program without constantly worrying about how I will afford everything.
Despite these challenges, I remain committed to earning my ARRT license and becoming a radiologic technologist. I understand the importance of this career and the impact radiologic technologists have on patient care. I want to be able to help patients during difficult moments while building a career that allows me to grow professionally and personally. My education is more than just earning a degree to me. It is an opportunity to create a better future and achieve long-term stability.
Receiving financial support would help relieve some of the stress that comes with attending trade school and allow me to focus more on my education and clinical training. I am hardworking, determined, and passionate about reaching my goals despite the financial obstacles I face. This support would not only help me continue my education, but it would also bring me one step closer to becoming a licensed radiologic technologist and building the future I have worked so hard toward.

My stepdad has had a huge influence on the person I am today and on the goals I have for my future. He served in the United States Marine Corps, and after his military service he built a career in accounting while also starting a side business selling sports cards to earn extra money for our family. Watching him work so hard throughout my life has inspired me academically, personally, and professionally. His determination and work ethic showed me the importance of discipline, perseverance, and always striving to improve your situation no matter how difficult things may seem.
One of the biggest lessons I learned from him is that success takes consistency and dedication. Even after long days at his accounting job, he would still spend hours managing his sports card business. He researched card values, stayed updated on trends, organized inventory, communicated with buyers, and worked to grow his business over time. He never complained about the extra work because he saw it as another opportunity to provide for our family. Watching him balance so many responsibilities taught me that hard work does pay off when you stay committed to your goals.
His entrepreneurial journey has inspired my own educational and career goals because it showed me the value of building a future through persistence and self motivation. I want to pursue a career in radiologic technology because I enjoy healthcare and the role medical imaging plays in diagnosing and helping patients. The dedication my stepdad showed toward his work motivates me to stay focused in school and continue pushing myself even when classes become stressful or challenging. Seeing how much effort he put into creating opportunities for our family has encouraged me to take my education seriously and work toward creating a stable future for myself.
His military service also had a major impact on my educational journey. The values he learned in the Marines became values that were emphasized in our household. Discipline, accountability, respect, and resilience were all important lessons he taught me growing up. He encouraged me to stay organized, show up on time, work hard, and never quit when things became difficult. Those lessons have helped me stay motivated throughout school and overcome challenges that come with balancing academics, work, and personal responsibilities.
Another way his military background impacted me is through the example he set. He showed me what it means to sacrifice for others and to continue working toward your goals even during difficult times. Knowing everything he has done for our family motivates me to continue my education and make him proud. His experiences taught me that success is not just about talent, but also about discipline, commitment, and the willingness to keep going when things get hard.
Overall, my stepdad’s military service and entrepreneurial journey have shaped both my educational goals and the way I approach life. His work ethic, determination, and resilience inspire me every day to pursue my dreams, continue my education, and build a successful future for myself while helping others along the way.
