Hello, my name is Caelen. I'm a first year student at Columbus State Community College, studying to become an engineer. I'll be focusing on the structural side of civil engineering, while working part time to pay for college in hopes that I won't have to take out too much in loans. I took many AP and honors courses in high school, was a member of the National Honor Society, a co-leader of our school's Gender and Sexuality's Alliance club, and volunteered throughout my high school career at a mental health clinic called Gentle Psych. I was also a member of my school's sailing team, and I had so much fun that I plan to join a sailing club after college. Being awarded with any scholarship would be appreciated beyond belief, as it could mean graduating without any debt. Thank you for considering my application!
