I am a freshman finance major in the Charlton College of Business at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and am a proud member of the Honors College. I finished the 2025-26 academic year with a 4.0 GPA, earning me a spot on the chancellor's list and ranking first in my class. I currently serve as treasurer for the Class of 2029's class council and was elected Senator for the Class of 2029 in the Student Government Association. As a senator, I sit on the SGA's finance committee, where I manage a $200,000+ budget, serving more than 160 campus organizations. In addition to student government, I serve as the only freshman member and equity analyst for the UMass Dartmouth Student-Managed Investment Fund, helping lead the fund to be the best-performing portfolio of any UMass program with a 20.44% return in 2025. Prior to college, I was a multi-sport varsity athlete, honor roll student, and a member of the National Honor Society. Outside the classroom, I play classical piano, volunteer at two local food pantries, and supervise UMass Dartmouth’s Intramural and Club Sports programs. At home, growing up with a single parent taught me the importance of financial discipline, planning, and responsibility. Seeing how careful financial decisions created stability for my family shaped my perspective and naturally led to my interest in finance. Those lessons continue to guide my academic goals, leadership roles, and community involvement as I work toward a career in the field and further my education in college.
