Hello, my name is Cadence B., and I am currently an incoming senior at Lane Technical High School. I strive to challenge myself academically while also exploring various career options for the future. Despite my demanding school schedule, I prioritize my mental health. In addition to my studies, I am involved in a program that teaches young children how to dance. Working with these young dancers has brought immense joy to my life and deepened my understanding of their perspectives. This experience has become a vital part of my journey, inspiring me to pursue a career in pediatrics. In the future, I am committed to addressing mental health within the medical field. While many medical professionals often concentrate solely on physical health, I aspire to take a more holistic approach. My goal is to focus on the mental well-being of children and adolescents aged 0 to 18, helping the next generation to thrive as a whole.
