My name is Brynn Schmidt, and I’m the oldest of six kids. I’m currently at the top of my class and a proud member of the National Honor Society. I had the honor of representing my community as a Nebraska Cornhusker Girls State delegate. I enjoy reading, learning about history, and playing the piano in my free time. My goal is to become a dermatology nurse practitioner. Growing up with a brother who has Down syndrome and twin siblings who spent extended time in the NICU, I witnessed firsthand the challenges families face in medical situations. These experiences inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare so I can support others going through similar struggles and make a meaningful impact in their lives.
