I am passionate about language arts and plan to major in English Education. My teachers have been incredible mentors, transforming my work ethic and encouraging me since freshman year. With their support, I’ve developed invaluable skills, including securing an internship with an award-winning author. I aspire to guide future students as my teachers have guided me.
In addition to English, I am a devoted music lover. At 14, I began teaching piano and formed meaningful relationships with my students. As a member of my school’s top audition choir, I sang alto and accompanied our Advanced Jazz ensemble, touring the Northwest and earning first place at the Columbia Basin College Festival.
I briefly participated in Mock Trial, where I competed as an attorney and received "Star Attorney" awards at both regional and state levels. This experience deepened my analytical and public speaking skills.
Having lived across the world, I cherish the cultures I’ve encountered—from Māori and Melanesian to Telugu. I believe that exploring different cultures combats ethnocentrism and enriches our perspectives.
Above all, I am a proud disciple of Jesus Christ. My faith is the foundation of everything I do, and I strive for His glory in all my endeavors.
