I’m a high school senior in the class of 2025. I have a passion for photography and put that to work for the yearbook and newspaper at my school. I’m the head editor of the senior ad portion of the yearbook and get to put my design and artistic skills to work, as well as work in and manage a team. I also have a passion for music. I participate in my high school orchestra, by playing the violin and by holding the position of head historian on our leadership board. I have a love for psychology and plan to later study clinical mental health and counseling psychology to become a counselor. I currently work at a local children’s play place and when I can I enjoy volunteering as much as possible. I am a member of the National Honors Society and strive to use my time to help out in the community. Every Sunday I teach violin lessons to a 10-year-old as well as every Thursday I teach a group of freshman violin in order to get some extra money to be able to afford college. I am currently enrolled in 12 hours at my local community college on top of the 6 hours a day I spend at my high school. This comes to a total of 10 class, in order to help lower my cost of college for my mom. I have lived with a single parent pretty much all my life, so I try my hardest every day to make her proud.
